Silent_Thunder
Anyways; I've been long absent from these forums (though I was never anyone to have a name on these boards, so I doubt anyone would recognize me, though I recognize many old time posters). (Note that I did post around here sporadically recently, but this is my first real return to the forums, in the light of the recent JKIII revelation). But I plan to start posting again now that the release of JKIII is on the horizon. Soon after the release of JKII I found very little reason to post here, but the speculating and waiting for information game is begining once more -- the most fun time to post, and the time when the community is the most friendly and fun to discuss matters of great importance with (such as weither Kyle Katarn dyes his hair or not). Anyways, that said I felt the need to once again revive and modify my beatiful avatar and sig picture. To my dismay I found that I cannot have a sig picture unless I have some quanity of 'credits' or something of that nature. Also, I'm noticing some things which I had not seen prior to my departure from the forums so long ago. Where did these non-moderator-glowing names come from? Anyways, my newbies questions are the following: 1. Can someone explain to me in some detail what is the process I must undergo in order to recieve the ability to put a picture in my signature? I know HOW to do it, since I had a sig in my picture long ago, I'm just wondering what I need to do to once again unlock the ability. 2. What must I do to get a glowing name? I thought they were only reserved to our beloved moderators alone. But now they seem to be given to a select few forum goers. What must I do to take part in the glowing name club? 3. I remember custom titles but forgot what one must do to attain one. Would someone please refresh my memory on this matter? Thank you all once more, appreciate all the info . RpTheHotrod
All using points. The more you post, and the more people vote for your post...the more points you get. Go to the store to buy stuff with the points. Click LucasForums, then find the STORE link.
Tyrion
First of all, the first two of your questions is based on credits. Every post you make, and every set of views your thread gets, you get credits. You use these to spend on special options for your account. You can also ask people to donate you the credits. 1. Can someone explain to me in some detail what is the process I must undergo in order to recieve the ability to put a picture in my signature? I know HOW to do it, since I had a sig in my picture long ago, I'm just wondering what I need to do to once again unlock the ability. http://www.lucasforums.com/store.php?s=&action=main 900 credits. ( Very bottom) Although, if you buy it, others can restrict the size of the viewed picture in your sig, so put in something that's both small-ish and isnt very big,for 56ker's(Not me though, I have broadband.) 2. What must I do to get a glowing name? I thought they were only reserved to our beloved moderators alone. But now they seem to be given to a select few forum goers. What must I do to take part in the glowing name club? In the store, you must get 50 credits to buy one. It gives you a pretty wide selection of colors, but once you buy it you need to spend another 50 to change the color. 3. I remember custom titles but forgot what one must do to attain one. Would someone please refresh my memory on this matter? You either need to get 1500 credits( a ton) or just have a 1000 post count. Edit - Yep Hotrod, very detailed post you have there. RpTheHotrod
He asked...I told him the "nutshell" version. He didnt ask for extensive details. Also, it's points, not credits. Also...I'm too busy to be hanging out in forums all the time

Silent_Thunder
Thanks for all of the informative replies guys! Too bad it takes so many credits to get a signature picture... That will take awhile, I guess no one likes me enough to donate me some credits... *sniff* So let me get this straight... I get 1 credit every time I make one post, and it gets atleast one view and one reply? All the other views and replies on the same thread yield no credits (points?) however? I wonder if I'll get a signature picture before JKIII is released .
Silent_Thunder
I just checked out the store... very interesting. I just have one question though... what do I recieve if I buy a "hotel room"? And glowing names seem alittle more expensive then I thought... 300 credits is a lot (at least to me ).
RpTheHotrod
I think it's a chat room
Ratmjedi
A cheap chatroom at that. It's like a board but only the people that you give the key have access to post in it and you have to keep refreshing the page to see any new post that might be made. It also doesn't help with your post count or point value.
Hekx
Use the credits, Luke! If you need credits, hop over to the Father Torque Foundation. Should be a stuck thread at the top of this here forum.
