Another stupid question...

Yea, that's the most likely reason. Of course, since I have an Xbox, I am just as happy:D .

Xbox needs an awesome RPG, exactly like this one, to give a little more to offer than what's currently available for the system. I don't even have Morrowind. The last good RPG I played was Diablo II. So its been a while...

Well, they also have to be able to have the game interface with many different OS and things of that nature for PC's. They are all very different, so to do that kind of work it takes a little bit of time. It's not like the xbox where every single one is the same.

Due to MS striking a deal with LucasArts. No other reason why.

Wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong...:)

No deals. Bioware is finishing up the XBox version first.

Then the PC version.

They aren't making some crappy multi-platform game that'll come out all on the same date.

They are going to complete(perfect) the XBox version.

Then do the same for the PC version(with a new(different) interface).

Bioware could have easily have gone PC first. So I am sure there was some type of deal done for the Xbox. Unless, of course, Hannibal, you have inside information.

The XBox version can be finished quicker because all the Xboxes have the same specs.

Not only are they changing the interface but control will be different(no controller). It's a lot easier to debug a game for one set of specs so I'm sure that's why they chose XBox first.

You people are just Microsoft conspiracy theorists:).

I've in noticed that anything MS is involved with that if it goes wrong or weird people always jump at MS for it. I don't like them much(don't have anything against them either) so I usually look at all sides.

By no way I was bashing MS. In fact I like them a lot. I was under the impression that when the game was first announced it was only for the PC. Then after reading the exclusive preview in the OXM, were it was announced that the Xbox would get it exclusively with the PC version following shortly thereafter. I'm just assuming that MS did some deal to get their version out first. However after your explaination it does make sense why Bioware could have focused on the Xbox due to its simplicity. So I'm not thinking conspiracy or anything x-file like. Just common sense.

Thanks for the heads up about "Jedi Academy" GothicSith. I just heard about it and didn't realise they already had a website. It's small consolation if that game comes out on PC first, though, considering it should be out at the same time as KOTOR, assuming no delays. I'd prefer to concentrate on one or the other.

Hey hey hey. ETM is multiplatform and that is not going to be crap. Wash your mouth out! :p

It is very annoying how console games come out before PC games. It's about time the game industry realised that the PC is the best gaming platform and showed PC owners a bit more respect instead of making us wait.

The PC gaming industry will always be a niche type of catagory. It will never supercede its console counterpart. Now that is not to say one is better than the other. In the past you would never see the type of game that consoles are now getting and that is largely due its powerful compatibilties that you would only see in high end PCs. Games like Morrowind and now KOTOR Deus Ex: IW are examples. PC developers are now tapping into the large profitable market that is the Console world. I think, however, that when you do say PC games, most if not all, realize that these games are top notch and almost always get the recognition and respect that is due to them.

That is a good question.....I have no idea. My guess they took the first trailer away because it looks nothing like the new one.

Didn't notice the models were missing.....my guess is because we have more screenies now and more overall info about the game.

No screensaver......maybe soon. :)

Damn your Sig. Image, Burrie. Thanks to your image I now have seen my first glimpse of the new trailer. Something I didn't want to see.

Please don't take that as a personal attack. I really like your signature image. However it would have been nice to see it for the first time when I played the game. I made it a point to not see anything more on the game. Everything was ok until your sig came along. Don't worry I wont create a stink about it. That clip is fantastic. I've got to go now. I've got to wipe the drool from my keyboard.:D

Is this just a rumour?

They called you up and left a message on your machine?

Come on, you have to be more detailed than that.

If you heard it from Bioware then it's true.

Who from Bioware did you here this from?

I'm not sure, but I think I read that from an "official topic" in the forums at bioware.

Eep, sorry about that, GothicSith. Seeing as how I'm currently avoiding spoilers for Episode III, and will be going into exile from various forums all over the Internet after KotOR is released, I can say that I sympathise, and offer my sincere apologies. I've removed the signature image, but now I must try and set up a non-spoiling image... the thing is, I don't have a bloody idea what kind of sig I would need then. Ah well, I'll see what I can conjure up.

In the mean time, once more, my sincere apologies.
