Natty At School
I have my ears pierced 3 times in each ear... I want an eyebrow ring but each time I suggest it someone talks me out of it
Darth Groovy
Let me talk you out of it too. My GF used to have one in her eyebrow, I hated it. Eventually it started to fall out until she just ripped it out. Now she has a scar. She should have listened to me....

Once I'm 18, I'm gonna get a tatoo, nothing too big, just normal sized...does it hurt really bad?
Darth Groovy
From what I know, it depends on where you get it, and the color of the ink. The Crucifix, honestly did not hurt at all. The Flaming yin yang, didn't hurt, but the red flames stung a bit. (this is the tattoo, I want to cover up, with Darth Maul's head...I'm serious!) The Revco symbol on my forearm stung like a bitch, only because when I had it done, I was very thin, and there was not much flesh in that area. Make sure that whoever does the Tat, that he goes over it again and again, my skin is strange, and some of my older tats seem to fade, but the Revco symbol, the artist spent several hours on, tracing over it again, and again. Always take time in deciding on a tat, place the image somwhere within site's reach, and leave it there for weeks. If you still like it, get the image as a tat. SamNMax
Piercings are okay. Tattoo's are just...
COJ
it really depends where your tatoo is...on the arm I find horrible, specially all these meaningless snakes or whatever. If I ever get one its on my high back/low neck region
Darth Groovy
I always get my tats in places that can be hidden for certain occasions. I hope to get into an administrative job someday. All of my tats can be hidden under a suit.
Junior™
Some years ago I had my right eyebrow pierced three times but for some reason I stopped wearing anything and now the holes are kind of...well...gone again. But it's interesting to know what you're doing with your free time lately, COJ.
Darth Eggplant
now groovy get your face tatted like a maori and I will be impressed. trouble with tats is this, old phot's can be burnt, red vinyl MJ jackets and glittery gloves given to charity, but a tattoo can come back to haunt you. you mentioned the A word. administration, well in the summer at a company picknik where the tat comes out, tat's are like you're really for them or really against them. and if you're dealing with old school such things are taboo, it can haunt you. i knew a guy once motorhead pete and he had oodles of tat's and eventually he had to remove them and like a sun stain on a piece of furniture, it the shadow remains forever. as for piercings i (well) tricky subject. I got one earring a long long time ago when it was still a stoning offence and i took a lot of guff both physical and verbal for it and have missed out on some oportunities along the way. it's been there for so long now, i tend to forget it's there just a silver hoop, medium size not to big, but that little ring is like the ring preciouss it grows on the mind and gets heavier. if you really want a tattoo, or a piercing think, think, think, be sure it's what you want not trendy or fashionable, and try to make it unique. (any tat in a tat book is worn by 1000 other people) and band loyalties change over 5 year periods so no soft drinks, sports advertisements or music logo's (you'll thank me later) and piercings try not to go overboard. remeber face metal is so easy to attack. and cowards and jocks and jerks always try to jank them out of ya in a fight. your body came with a wonderful number of oriffices, no need to make to many additions. (and call me old fashion, but genital piercing is ouch\out!)
Darth Groovy
I like tats. I don't like too many tats, after a while you start to look like one of those icky dudes that runs the tilt-a-whirl at your local carnival. It is hard picking tats out, you really have to look at the image for a very very long time before you decide. I'm gonna get the Darth Maul tat/cover-up next, and that will probably be my last one. COJ
Tats should be something represents you, I dont think it's just something u just choose out of book, and your getting that tatoo because you like the drawing and all. Groovy, who says that in 20 years, your even going to remember who Darth Maul is, and when your little kids ask you what your tatoo means, and you have problems answering..I dunno I also decided to have a tiny little black line for every children I have, on my back..I dunno, ideas lol
Darth Groovy
I am not agaist genital piercing. I would not personally do it to myself, but I wouldn't mind if my girlfreind did it, yet she does not seem too keen on the idea, and that's ok. Also, I think belly button rings on girls are sexy as hell.
