The Horror! The forums they...they...

Recommended Posts

We need some conspiracy and scandal to liven the board up. Who fixed the spelling of your name, Davros? Was it an admin or something MORE SINISTER? Or was it someone ELSE who insulted the authority of the Daleks by spelling their name wrong?

I'm impressed by the number of BBC special effects avatars in this forum, by the way. Keep it up.

  • 4 weeks later...

I have temporarily decided to join the good side. This will probably not last too long.

Eggplant, get yourself a better (read: more Doctor Who oriented) avatar! You can even have this fine Brigadier one for free once I get tired of it! (Estimate: three days.)

I know this isn't exactly the right thread to ask these questions on, but it seems to be one that 8 of 12 is visiting, so I think he'd know the answers.

What exactly was Moldy Bun Bologna saying in the background during episode 5 when Lube discovered that the droids were supposed to destroy the Dud Star? I picked something up about making toast and raisin bran, but that's it.

What song, exactly, was the "Make Out" music during episode 9?

In episode 8, Number Two mentions something about Darth Vapor's "Last date, where [he] used the mind trick on that girl," and that the guys in the security room got their hands on a recording of it. After Number Two says "Mate, uh, he's watching...", the security guy starts saying something that I can't make out. What was it he said?

And last, but not least, Number Two calls Darth Vapor these different names: Darth Striker, Darth Flubbalah, and my favorite, Pan Scriber (as in "I'm sorry, pan scriber, but there really is no rebel base.") And then, he pronounces "Looks like as ready as I'll ever be" and "Wiks Ripe al Ready as I'll ewer be." Is this intentional? And what the heck is a Pan Scriber?

lol! Hello Incredible D! Let me get my pocket translator out and see if I can answer the questions.

Okay. Mouldy Bun Baloney's line in part 5. Now I did the voice of Mouldy Bun Baloney, and I can't even remember what I said. Part of it was scripted, the rest of it was just rambling.

It seems to be mostly with making breakfast. Then going to the shops for something... he encounters a cat on the way out of the shops and the cat begins to talk to him.

Unscripted. Trust me.

The make out music in episode 9 is 'Let's Get it on' by Marvin Gaye

The security gaurds were caught watching Darth Vapour porn on the security monitors. They were praying for their lives.

From memory, Lawrence was praying in English. :)

Number Two always calls Vapour names, yes, and the thing about that is that none of it is scripted, it's all Stanley. So if I take out my Stanley translator for you...

Pan Scriber is Number Two calling Darth Vapour 'paint scraper'

As for the other line... well I don't know exactly in Lost Cause where it is... but the line is probably intentional. Just chalk it up to either Number Two, or you aren't hearing it right. :)

I got mine by typing random character names into Google Image Search, then cutting them down in Paint Shop Pro. If your character is called something generic like 'The Master', you might have to resort to the actor's name instead. :)
