I look on dreams as safety valves for pent-up emotions and things that are worrying you, even subconsciously. If you start to really worry about your nightmares, then by all means talk to someone who can listen objectively - perhaps someone who has experience interpreting dreams. Personally, I've never felt the need.
Acrylic
Originally posted by Darth Homer My worst dream recently was one where I was sitting in my room, nothing happening when I turn around to see this drop-dead gorgeous girl standing there...she reaches down and......I woke up there...I was so pissed... edit: God, I need a girlfriend... Me Too! Well, I never really had scary dreams thank god. I remember when I was 4 I had the scariest dream ever (back then at least) Me and my dad were walking through a dark parking lot to go find my mom, and well, a scary looking newscaster in my town was there as well. A wall came down between me and my dad. And she said me and him would be seperated for all eternity. Then she tried to get me, she kept walking toward me slowly (like in all horror movies) I ran up toward her and did Kung-Fu (Yes, I was violent when I was 4 ) Anyways, I hit her,ALOT, but that didn't affect her what soever, like gitting metal, well, then I woke up. And I dont remember anything after that.
Lunatic Jedi
I remember having this REALLY weird dream a while ago. I had the flu and I was all screwed up then, so it made virtually no sense. There were a lot of really high-end Italian cars. I remember that Korea had built a giant revolving ring around the Earth that had healing powers ( ). I remember I was supposed to drive around and paint paintings. That's about all I remember of the actual dream. When I woke up, though, it just got weirder. My mom was using the computer in my room, and when I woke up, I said (remember, I was really sick and really messed up) "Mom, what was my score on the Italian cars?" She was pretty confused. I was too.

"Two-Face"
We had an interesting dream once... We were at school (somewhere we haven't been in years and years), yet everything was twice the size. We approached some students who were in line for a photograph, so we tagged on the end of a line. Suddenly, a teacher appears and tells us (while staring at our face) that we are now a fully-fledged plumber. Big white flash and we are at some run-down house, with a shrivelled old lady telling us that the plumbing is gone to pieces. We look up at the ceiling (which is covered in large spiders) and tell her that her problem is in her hallway. She then tells us that her hallway is through a sealed door which any person can walk straight through, so long as we jog slightly. So, she grabs our hand and pulls us through this closed door while running towards it. There is a massive hissing sound which hurts our ears, a sensation of being punched all over our body and a loss of breathing. We wake up, in a strange position, drenched in sweat and in pain. The last thing we can remember is an image of ourselves, lying in this old lady's hallway, shaking in some kind of fit and covered in sweat. Then again, half of us is always thinking evil thoughts. Maybe this was just a disturbed mind at work... wouldn't be the first time.

I wasn't trying to belittle his experience, especially in light of another post he made a while ago. Obviously if it is becoming very serious he should seek professional help, but I assume he already has some of the support he needs. I hope, however, that it's not too serious to warrant that kind of help.
