LEC games for E3

Recommended Posts

GB is definitely a possibility.

It'll be nice to have another, and a sequel is inevitable, with Episode 3 coming out.

There's Rebel Strike.

And the game that will knock your socks off.

I gotta stop using dramatic intros like that. :p

Heck yeah it will!

First person, third person, and flight combat. How can you beat that?

It makes me want to get a GameCube for crying out loud. (Now I am using dramatic phrases :D)

For the last one I am hoping for GB2. I would like to see Jedi Power Battles 2 above that though. Wishful thinking.....:)

*strokes his Gamecube*

Excellent. :dev11:

GB2 would be a nice third, I'm really into those types of games. :)

Oh, whoa.

Just saw this on LA.com.

This game looks awesome! Albeit a different type of game then what LA usually makes, but who wouldn't love being a clone trooper?

*goes to download trailer*

I guess this rules out GB2 now. I think this will be better though. :)

Dang Lucasarts....They're going to make me go broke! :D

wow, we never saw that commin.

LucasArts today announced development is underway on Star Wars: Republic Commando (working title), a dark and intense first-person shooter for the Xbox™ video game system and PC. The game will utilize an enhanced version of the acclaimed Unreal engine technology.

now that can be quite promising

Expected for release summer 2004, Star Wars: Republic Commando will present a dramatic military-style action experience from the point-of-view of an elite squad member of a Republic Special Operations unit. Players will step into the role of a Commando performing precision operations deep behind enemy lines in this brutally realistic Star Wars combat experience.

sound good to me as we never had a game like that.

* wonders how the game will be *

Rainbow Six meets Aliens meets Star Wars meets Unreal engine...

Definite blockbuster potential here!

Well said Com, I agree completely! This one looks awesome! :D

Heh. I couldn't have put it better myself. The trailer rocks...and they'd be hard-pressed not to make a good game on the Unreal tech.

I wonder if LEC actually read that thread that was started a few years ago...asking...nay, begging...for such a game as this. I've been waiting a long time for this...and now I'm pumped up beyond all recognition. :D

Rock on, LEC! Now give us the official site with some in-game screenies, and I'll be even more happy. :D

Indeed, I'm very impressed with Lucasart's line-up over the last few months... I must admit that I thought that they(LA) were in the gutter for a long time, but with all these recent games coming out, they are slowly coming back to the top.
