Natty
Yeah but I put that down to the graphics, not sure if it's supposed to be like that or not
Joshi
There would have been a hell of a lot of animation used for that shot (back then a hell of a lot at least) and it wouldn't have been worth it for the seconds they'd need it for. Of course, if you think that's bad, look at Who Framed Roger Rabbit, right at the beginning, roger seems to be able to use the force to bring the guys jacket towards him while he tugs at it. right after the failed cartoon. Huz
No, I think it's supposed to be that way. Guybrush seems to stoop down to pick stuff up in a single frame, so it wouldn't have been a great stretch to make the "troll" do the same. Oh man, I can't believe I just posted to this thread. Joshi
Yes, but the animation used to make Guybrush bend down would have been used several times throughout the game, but the troll thing would only be done once, so it would have been worth it.
Remi
They used a bunch of animations for the troll, so it wouldn't have been an issue to create one more frame. Also, seeing that the troll is supposed to be George Lucas it only makes sense that he uses the forces. ¬
James Isaac
Yeah, there are already a lot of animations for the troll, and they would only have to do one more. It was probably meant to be him using the force.
Joshi
Ah yes, that does make sense. I didn't actually realise that he was meant to be George Lucas. Okay, never mind.
AnxiousApe
Well, when it is so pixely then its hard to tell. I only found out it was meant to be George Lucas from a website.
I am Andrew
When your at the bridge and after you give him the herring and guybrush walks buy the club rolls over to the other side and after he eats it rolls back. They just reversed the animation for that.
