You know, a lot of people have false reasons to hate mek. I don't like him, I have my reasons, but I don’t hate him, and a respect that he has different beliefs to me. Surely by hating him for his beliefs is the reason you hate him in the first place, because you think he hates people because of their beliefs.

Hating me for my beleifs imediatly contradicts their beleif that all beleifs should be respected (if you hold that beleif). I do not hold that beleif myself.

For certain reasons, I can't hate mek, like I said before, he was brought up this way around people just like him, it's only natural that he thinks these things.

Now here you are wrong Neil. I am a Christian because I choose to be. Not because of how I'm bought up infact I do not agree with my mum on a lot of things.

 

I infact know that my beleifs are wrong. but I know that they are only wrong to the outside world, to the corrupt world of sin and death. Not to God.

You cannot hate mek for having different beliefs

Oh of course they can, they can do anything they please.

The reason I kind of don’t like mek is because of his ability to bring religion and his hatred for gay people into every conversation therefore making it a controversial argument.

Now lets get one thing right I don't hate people; I hate homosexuality.

Natty was upset because a friend of hers was beaten up pretty badly, and somehow you still managed to turn it into this by saying that it was his fault.

That isn't what I tried to say, what I said was I understand gay-bashers and I understand them because a lot of the time it's their anger at gays that leads to it.

he's also seems to think that he's right and the whole world is wrong, I can't really hate him for that, but I can judge him for not having an open mind about other cultures and lifestyles.

1 Corinthians 5. If you don't know what that says the long and the short of it is: know your beleifs are right, beware of false teachers.

I was refering to your comment that you think gay-bashers are scum. And some are. But not all of them are scum.

Okay, so I’m going to step in here before this gets thread closed (although I think this could have been a PM, but I guess you wanted all to see).

 

Frankly, now I don’t care what you think, you're annoying me now and NiKo's right, what I don't like about you is that you like to preach as much as possible you're hatred. God never said to hate anything, but you seem to anyway. Well that's fine by me, by all means, hate whoever you like, just don't spread the hatred around.

 

And if you say you don't have hatred, then what's all this about? A thread that has no point whatsoever than to cause trouble, no matter how much it makes your point. if this were a PM, you know it would have been a hell of a lot better, but you made this public, why, because you wanted everyone to know how you felt about my post, you wanted everyone to see you 'standing up for what you believe'. Face it, you're an attention whore, you as well as I know this could have been a PM, but you just had to make it public.
