Rockstar
umm this is about that dude that asked why he got banned and the mod shut it up... im not questioning mod credability but if your not going to let someone post something in an off topic forum where the heck are they supposed to do it? im not conning anyone here just curious for answers. this is a cool board and im pretty sure that this isn't one of those formums where mods just can't resist using their "lock" button
Antilles_CL
MODS and Admins here are really nice and friendly. They have their own reasons for locking threads and whatnot. Perhaps you should PM one of them to find out why that thread was closed?

The member who made that post was banned earlier and I think that was the right thing to do, it wasn't permanent so... If he wants to know why, he can PM the mods, I don't think it's something that should be discussed in the open, since it would most likely turn into a flame war - again. Lunatic Jedi
I recall it had something to do with an offensive avatar.
C Shutt
Off-topic is one thing, but starting a thread asking other users if they agree with a ban that has already expired is just self-indulgent and pointless.
Lunatic Jedi
Explain to me how this can be considered self-indulgent.

Yup. True. And SemiColon is correct also. There are rules to follow.
C Shutt
I don't mean this thread, I mean the "Do you think it was right that I was banned" poll.
Lunatic Jedi
Yeah, that was pretty stupid. That kind of behavior is basically a one-way ticket to another ban...

obi
If a user is banned here, trust me when I say that it is for proper reason and called for. Either that, or I had a bad day and needed to channel that anger elsewere. Just kidding. Or am I?
RoguePhotonic
I think it depends on the mod....I have been to forums where mods would post as much as anyone else...then they get pissed at your opinions on a subject like anyone else would and go off on ya saying all kinds of **** to insult you then when you say something back BOOM banned for life!...lol
