DracoFXB
For those Xbox users out there, when the game comes out in like 18 more days, who is going visit the forums and stuff that day? Either to tell people your impressions of it to badger the PC users who have to wait til this Fall, or just other things. On launch day I'll pretty much be in my room playing the game but probably late at night while my brother is playing, I'll come online to post some things here about the game. Burrie
I'll be as far away from the forums as I possibly can. In fact, I'll stay as far away from any Knights of the Old Republic-related boards, and other boards that might offer spoilers(EU forums come to mind) until I've finished the game on the PC. Gotta do something to avoid spoilers.
Jedi Apprentice
I'll be here if I'm home. July is a busy month for me so I might not be on too much then. If I am then I will definitely give impressions and badger people. Burrie-- That new sig is cool, but funny since I have seen what it really is. How long does it take you to make one of those? JedEye Knight
When this game comes out, I will go down to the basement, look at the big t.v we have down there, tell it to give me the best damned sound or else I'll go to the living room and hook up the surround sound, I shall then proceed to press open on the X-Box and after much time of gracing and loving the game cover its self I shall place the game in, close and forever will it rule my destiny for the Summer .. so basically I probably will dissapear for a few days .. weeks .. maybe even months
Rogue15
I'll get it a week or so after launch...probably going to trade in Clone Wars for it.
DracoFXB
Also a major concern for the PC users is spoilers. Once it comes out on the Xbox, all the Xbox users will have the game and will be talking about things that maybe the PC users might not wanna hear. Thanks, I hoped this signature would bring a few smiles As for the time, a regular signature(ie. no changes at all) would take about.. oh, 5-10 minutes, I reckon. I pretty much have everything ready here, it's all a bit of copy+paste. As for edited footage, it mostly taken an additional 5 minutes to set things up in Blender, and then about 10 minutes of tweaking to make sure that the footage looks good. It's an easy way to pass the time
Rogue15
maybe it would be a good idea for whoever admins this board to put up a 'KotOR Discussion for Xbox' board. That way, the people who are getting the PC version can avoid the spoilers altogether.
Burrie
I'm personally all for a PC boards for the fans... but in the end, it takes but one newbie/troll to ruin it for everyone. Which is the main reason why I'm going into an "on-line" hermitage once the game is released for the X-Box.
Uber_Saber
I'm with Burrie on this one. I don't want to get spoiled... I want to have it all surprises! (Beyond what I already know, anyway.) It's the exploration that's going to be part of the fun, y'know. I want to play the game through a couple times, Dark/Light, different classes, then I'll be back. StormHammer
I usually visit these boards every day or so, and I don't see a reason to change that. I too wish to remain largely spoiler free - I've already avoided looking at some of the trailers and information posted on other sites. However, I'm sure the Mods here will ensure the PC users will remain spoiler free as much as possible.

But like Burrie said, it just takes one idiot...... Anyways, maybe you guys can find your home in the PC boards. I'd hate to lose you all.
Rogue15
yeah, but most newbies don't know how to use spoiler tags, which is why it'd be fair to have an xbox discussion and pc discussion seperately, this way at LEAST the pc users won't be spoiled too often, and mods could just move a thread instead of editing it. or just a seperate 'spoilers-a-plenty' forum, but then people who don't want spoiled, but want help with something that could possibly be a spoiler but doesn't seem spoiler-sensitive to them would post in the non-spoiler forum... anyways.....just a thought. I know there's going to be a HUGE rush of people flooding these boards, and I'm sure there's a few mods here that don't want to be spoiled. Mods such as *cough*Rogue15*cough*. hopefully it won't be as bad as i'm predicting.
Burrie
I know that I've told this story a few times before, but I'd like to give a small example as to why I'll be avoiding forums, even non-spoiler forums, for awhile To be honest, my phobia for spoilers in forums appeared just after I had finished Elite Force. I sincerely loved the game and its many plot twists. That night, I went on the 'net and searched around a bit for information regarding the game, and I came across the official forums. I took a look around, when I noticed a thread that said "For those who haven't finished the game...". Being interested, I went in to find out what was going on. Inside the thread, there was but one sentence in an extremely large bolded font which simply said... (and I'll spoiler-it-out for those who might have yet to play Elite Force) Please note that this is an actual quote BIESMANN DIES! HAHA, I SPOILED A PART OF THE STORYLINE FOR YOU! Seeing as how I had already finished the game, I didn't really think too much of it, but I honestly would've hated it if I had read this post beforehand. The scene where it refers to is one of my favorite, I really loved it... if I had gone out on the 'net to find out information regarding Elite Force before finishing the game, this scene wouldn't have been so very... dramatic for me. And all it would've taken was one single freakin' troll. Hence, I hope you folks understand why I'll be leaving. I don't want any troll spoiling the plot twist for me. Taos
I don't want to be spoiled either, but since I don't have an xbox anymore - I will be here cleaning up the large mess that will be made. x.x Like others have said we will have seperate forums for xbox/pc and we may add a gameplay forum for users to talk strategy etc. I've been helping out over at Galaxies and that place has been crazy, so I can only assume that we will have something similar to that as well. It's going to be fun though. If I see any of you xbox owners here....I'm going to ban you, you should be playing the game and not be here!

The Xbox version comes out July 16th, the PC version doesn't come out til Fall, which could mean as deep as November which is like 4 months away. You are going to be away for 4 months? You are going to be away for 4 months?Pretty much... I gotta do something to avoid spoilers. Besides, there's a new add-on for Neverwinter Nights coming out which looks pretty good, neverwinterconnections.com is still running strong and I can play several games there to pass the time... then there's the fact that creating and DMing modules for NWN is also a great way to pass the time. In fact, I recently found a hak pack which had intrigued me to work on a new module... one that I've been wanting to work on for quite some time So methinks that NWN will pretty much hold me busy for some time... then there's also Jedi Academy. Methinks I'll simply go track that game just like I did with KotOR, and simply find as many spoilers for that game to keep me busy... y'know, I'm too obsessed with spoilers for Jedi Academy to note any spoilers for Knights of the Old Republic. I'll prolly also hang out at various other forums like Galaxies, just to see how things are going there(even though I personally have no plans to get that game). Plus, I'm sure that there'll be some other games which'll keep me busy until then. But still, I'm really lookin' forward to when I log on against at these forums, and share my stories of KotOR with you folks, as well as reading your tales of adventure. Frosty_V2.1
It's quite sad about trolls, the same sort of thing happened to me on the JKII forums soon after release, involving Jan early in the game. Anyway, what's gonna happen with you Mods? If you're not busy playing it at the time (or waiting for PC) and come here to do your thing you'll probably get hit by the big spoiler bat [TM] a few times Best wishes for you module Burrie

Actually Fall officially ends Decemner 21 (the winter solstice). Here' what I don't get. How come "Summer" for the Xbox refers to the middle of summer, but "fall" for PC means the end of it (November). Maybe I'm being picky, I suppose, but I want to complain. AND WHY IN THE HECK DO I HAVE TO ENDURE THREE FREAKING MONTHS OF SCHOOL BEFORE I CAN PLAY KOTOR? WHERE'S THE JUSTICE IN THAT? I'M BEING TOTURED BUT I HAVEN"T DONE ANYTHING! INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY, RIGHT? AUURGHHHHHHHH!!! HELP!!!!!!!
