Azrael Posted July 5, 2003 Posted July 5, 2003 And, it's completely uncensored! This either the best or the worst thing that Comedy Central has ever done. If anyone's ever seen this movie, you'd know that this movie would completly pointless with the "beep" sound going off every other word. So, what do people think? Could this be a really bad thing, or will this be the beginning of the end of censorship?
NoWayOut Posted July 5, 2003 Posted July 5, 2003 I KNOW I CANT WAIT! Im here in the west coast and it is going to be on at 1 I think it will be comedy centrals downfall but o well. at least i dont work there! lol
RoguePhotonic Posted July 5, 2003 Posted July 5, 2003 lol no editing?....so that uncle ****er song was playing lol
ZBomber Posted July 5, 2003 Posted July 5, 2003 Are they even aloowed to have that kinda language on TV? lol
<JOTD>Jedi Hunter Posted July 5, 2003 Posted July 5, 2003 Well they did it on the "****" episode. If you look at the time it's on, you can see why it's uncensored. It's on at 1 am. Also, I have the movie (lol, waste of my money) so I won't be watching. PS. To anyone who read the beer thread, I'm on my 5th.
Agen Posted July 5, 2003 Posted July 5, 2003 Eh? This was on channel 4 about 1 or 2 years ago with no censoring? Why would there be censoring?
NoWayOut Posted July 5, 2003 Posted July 5, 2003 the only other movie that i saw one tv that was not censored was Saving Private Ryan! They say the f word about 4 times In South Park they are are saying it every other word. they should pick better movies to uncensor!
KBell Posted July 5, 2003 Posted July 5, 2003 No it wasnt! " F*** Canada!" No offense to any Canadians presiding in these or other forums.
The Cheat Posted July 5, 2003 Posted July 5, 2003 i havnt seen it yet, comes on tonight at 1:00, guess i will watch it

KBell Posted July 6, 2003 Posted July 6, 2003 The movie Kicks ass man! Don't diss it until you've seem it Damn Right Agen! Come on, a South Park Movie!! How can you go wrong! Especially following the Beavis and Butthead Movie
mima kake Posted July 6, 2003 Posted July 6, 2003 I'm glad we have no such thing over here. you can hear and see everythng you can. no beebs or anything like that. fun movie though , laught my ass off when I saw it the first time. Best musical ever,
Azrael Posted July 6, 2003 Author Posted July 6, 2003 It's a great movie, although, with it's pointless swearing, I can understand why some don't like it. "Hey guys, do you know where I can find the... clitoris?" "What? Is that like finding Jesus, or something?"
Antilles_CL Posted July 6, 2003 Posted July 6, 2003 Well I'm in Italy...So I don't get Comedy Central
The Cheat Posted July 6, 2003 Posted July 6, 2003 i watched it last night, very funny, would have been stupid to bleep out all the ****s and ****s in the movie, maybe they could replace it or something, i dunno, anyway first time i saw it and i thought it was pretty good
KBell Posted July 6, 2003 Posted July 6, 2003 it was pretty good, but Terminator 2 was on too and that was my favorite Terminator so i was switching back from that and South Park the entire night
Azrael Posted July 6, 2003 Author Posted July 6, 2003 I gotta be honest. This movie would have no point to it if all of the curse words were censored. That's the whole plot of the movie. I'm just surprised that Comedy Central didn't really give too many warnings. Sure, they showed a "Warning: Content not Suitable for Children" after every commercial, but let's be honest. That crap doesn't work.
BawBag™ Posted July 6, 2003 Posted July 6, 2003 "Damn hell sh*t! Respect ma f*ckin authoritaw!" Damn. I watched it yesterday on VHS and still laughed. The songs, Big Gay Al, the Mole, Winona Ryders famous ping pong ball trick...... Feckin tremendous.
•-BLaCKouT-• Posted July 6, 2003 Posted July 6, 2003 I remember watching it in the cinema in '99. Tears rolling down my face as Terence and Phillip did their song. Priceless. But yes, to take out the swearing is to rob the film of it's whole point. B. Does anyone have a list of how many swear-words are in the film? I'd be intrigued...
