Just so you know, I edited my post and put Kallic's response in. In case you didn't take notice of that.

Well the first part does make things quite a pickle then doesn't it, but the second part is quite, well, true. So I'm thinking that they now have a decent reason for this 'alliance'.

Do you mean extending the alliance between Echelon 5 and the Jedi over towards the 'Nex Venators' as well? If so, then it wouldn't really happen unless the Galactic Empire were under control by an outside power (i.e. the Undying Sith Empire) or the current ruler was/is threatened (both in his postion of power, and bodily).

Though the Undying Sith Empire simply being a threat to the GE itself as a whole might do it also (invasion/conquest, etc.). Dunno what's happening to the GE in the RP, so I couldn't make a valid choice/decision, still, sounds like a good enough plan, just need a good enough reason.

I know it doesn't make sense that they would throw a Sith off the ruling seat when they're based off of a group that served a Sith, but that's where things get tricky; they are after all a self-contained group (similar to your Echelon 5), they have their own beliefs, philosophies, classes, ranks, and Masters/Rulers, they are much like the Sith or Jedi, an individual self-governing body/organization within an organization (that organization being the Galactic Empire). Much like an individual entity, their rules and rulers can change (though not as easily as the Sith mind you) and that's where Vector was meant to come into play if the 'Nex Venators' had been established in the previous two RP's, but that's an explanation for another time.

....Okay, so they're more thought out than you might've guessed, but they still don't have much of a place/foothold in the RP, so that makes things difficult *shrugs* , but whatever, I'm open to suggestions.

No, they wouldn't serve the Undying Sith Empire; they aren't Sith, in reality they dislike and even despise the Sith, much of what the Sith do are against the 'Nex Venator's' philosophies - even if they themselves aren't all too morally sound.

They, for the most part, are loyal to the Empire. Though, yes, if the Republic were ever weakened (and the Jedi along with it) they would exploit them, though secretly, they're a shadow organization for the Empire, not blatantly obvious saboteurs.

Their true and primary purpose is to ensure the Empires' survival by any means, and to ultimately protect it's current heir and ruler (lest that ruler be a usurper, in which case they would do everything in their power to get the usurper off the ruling seat, especially a Sith), seeing as they are based off of the late Emperor Palpatine's Shadow Guards (some of the founding members were Shadow Guards).

If you could retype that please, It would help me significantly to understand what you were trying to say .

Ah, I see, but how would this allow for the 'Nex Venators' to, "'Work very well'" with the plot of the RP. Just curious.

Ah, yes. Well, whenever you find the time to fill me in on the details then I'm all ears, until then, I, and my 'Nex Venators' shall be waiting patiently.

I would, but I don't exactly like the fact that I was pretty much pushed out of the last two I joined.

The first time was probably more or less my fault, but the second I was left hanging waiting for a reply from Kol (controlled by you) that never came. I also wanted to establish the 'Nex Venators' more firmly within those two RP's so that in future RP's the organization would have a place in the storyline in future RP's (like JM12's Avalonian race, etc.), but that little endeavor failed with me getting pushed out of the RP's.

So tell me Alkonium, would I really be welcomed back to the eighth installment, or will I yet again be left by the wayside? If so, it's just best I don't rejoin at all. Then again, if you really do want me to come back, fine.

Yep! Ah, thanks, like I said, no big deal if you didn't want to go through with it, I had other characters lined up for use in the same spot/position.

Edit: I suggest you edit that one post accordingly, don't want people getting confused when I start posting in as this random Hanar pilot when they're expecting someone named Ghost. Lol. (Let me guess where you got that name, hm? Modern Warfare 2?)

Sadly, yes I am serious, I had backup characters in place just in case you didn't agree to the Hanar thing, but I still want to do it. The crew's diverse as it is, might as well just keep adding to it!

I'll get to work posting that character sheet now (since I was waiting on your reply before I went ahead with it).

Yo PK! I was just going to ask, since the last Legacy RP was cut a little short and was never given a proper ending post (thus not showing what happens to everyone after Ossuss); would it be alright if Slate and Cade/Reaper were sorta partners/associates in the whole assassination/bounty hunting/mercenary business, etc.?

It will give me a good point to come in on in the RP. But if not I won't cry, I've always gotten into RP's one way or another.
