  1. Ah, yes, no good deed goes unpunished, eh? :D

  2. Decent topic w/a good chance of falling into a flamefest at some point. :p

  3. thanks for assist in pic thread.

  4. Is that modded headgear that Jen is sporting?

  5. If you've got any Shep (m/f/both) pics from your ME2 playthroughs, post 'em over here:http://lucasforums.com/showthread.php?p=2716085

  6. She was kinda cute, in an "anime" sort of way. Looked similiar to the heroines you tend to see in those kinds of shows.

  7. Hey, thanks for that page link in the Shep thread. Now I can be lazier the next time around. :D Did see your choice last night in one of the vids I was checking on Youtube. Apparently the hairdos are mods (at least according to the YT descritions). Oh, yeah, bought "Boo" after finishing ME2 this morning. Kinda cool that the game lets you wrap up any loose ends as an option. I had at least 2+ missions left.

  8. Yeah, noticed you posted it. It is rather disgusting(ly hilarious).

  9. nice avi.....very edgy looking

  10. One....two smacks...oh oho oh ahaah...what a pimp. :D

  11. Another :argh:. Was expecting Baldwin to be a party member, despite vaguely remembering the name Kal 'Reeger and just failing to make the connection. Totally in agreement w/you on this. If they all sounded like gypsies, you might think Tali was after more than your heart. :xp: Also, will keep your tip in mind about handling "suicide mission timing", as I must be getting near to that point soon enough.

  12. Yeah, I did for both. Just cycled through it. Kal kind of sounds likes Adam Baldwin.

  13. Wow, I missed that. Didn't realize it was Veetor, just thought it funny he was so "plain spoken" in dealing with the judges. :devsmoke: Thought it was her previous captain or something. Will have to cycle through that part again. thanks.

  14. Not finished yet (43+ hours in), but ME2 has been pretty cool (even w/the issues) so far. Tali's "trial" was kinda funny, as I took the "incite crowd" option. Too bad we can't seem to have that affect on our own pols. :p

  15. Looks like it may have been a case of "last straw". Had to look it up. According to WP article, he was let go from his paid position, but told he called remain affiliated w/AEI. Frankly, in his case, it might be just as well. Now he's freer to say to find an outfit more in keeping w/his views and doesn't have to worry about censoring himself. Guess they handed him an opportunit of sorts.

However, read his "Waterloo" article and think he was overstating it a bit. Reps were at a serious disadvantage in terms of numbers. I think even several conservative pundits felt reasonably certain that something was going to pass, and the dems were going to do it as soon as they had the #s. However, the proponents of the bill shouldn't be too quick to celebrate till the courts (essentially the SC) come down on their side in the end. Ain't nothing like having the "fat lady sing" to signify victory/defeat/ending/etc..

  16. Wonder what he said this time and to whom. :raise:

  17. cool pic in Capt America thread. :thmbup1:

  18. He's positively smitten w/Tali. ;) Otherwise, nice understatement.

  19. Empty your mailbox......ya filthy animal.

Sounds like one of those false flag type ops. Maybe it was a teaparty person, or as likely, maybe plants from the progressive side to undermine the movement.
