Ugh...my little bout of the flu or whatever has bounced back. I'm hacking my head off and contributing to my massive headache while doing so. And I'm watching Star Trek. I've been in the recliner most of the day. :/

I'm just playin' my Revenge of the Sith game, but it's given me reason to be severely annoyed. I just beat a level where I fight two Jedi, and I got an impossibly good score (at least for me ). It played the little end clip, and I waited for it to go to the experience screen, and--it froze.

It's still sitting there.

So, now I'm gonna have to reset my PS2 and lose my impossibly high score.

Well, I FINALLY got the next chapter of my story out. Sure took me long enough...but I did concentrate on the Javyar's Cantina entry a lot.

Urgh. I feel awful. I think I'm coming down with the stomach virus--one other person in my family already has it.

Well, I just watched Endgame, but I still have several former episodes I haven't seen yet! I'll tell you later! (turns back to screen and watches lots of fightin' and killin'.)

Well, I saw my friend on Wednesday, and she told me what she thought of my story. She loved it! I do believe another Sith Lord has joined your infernal group of pesterers!

BTW, I like the Erussa/Tawnos scene! I never got it! Sorry, but I started laughing when Erussa asked Tawnos how he felt about Osay. That was just funny.

So, what would be a good time to work on IV? I can do it later, or tomorrow, or the day after, whenever you need (provided the internet doesn't decide to go off again).

Well, I've gotten back to SWG. Been playing that a bit. Oh, and my laptop died the other night. Fortunately, we saved all my files, so none of my writing was lost.

Oh, yea, and my birthday's in a few days. My parents aren't gonna be there, though--they have to go on a trip. :/ Oh, well. They haven't been there on my birthday for three years.

Been doin' anythin' else?

Well, it depends on what game I'm playing. One of my favorite all-time games, Battlefront 2, I only have for the PS2, so that's what I mainly use that console for. For the PS3, I play TFU and LEGO Star Wars (since those are two out of the only three games I have for it, lol), and I usually play KOTOR 1, TSL, and Pirates Online on the PC. And once in a while, on very rare occasions, I feel like playing one of those really old games like Tetris and Doctor Mario, I get out the Nintendo. I'm surprised that bloody thing even works anymore. It's twenty years old, or something ridiculous like that!

If you decide to get a next-gen console sometime, I highly recommend the PS3. The online is free, the controls are easy (at least for me with these stinkin' small hands), and if your mom accidentally buys something on Blu-ray sometimes (like mine did), you can play it on the PS3.

On the other hand, the 360 is cheaper, and it has achievements. But, of course, if you pay online fees, the cost balances out to the PS3 pretty soon anyway.

The Wii, IMO, is a piece of trash. Maybe it's just me. I like my eye candy! When I sit down to play a video game, it's generally because I've just had a long and tiring day, and I just don't feel like standing up a swingin' a numchuck and Wiimote around.

Janeway's good at avoiding ships. The only time (so far) she's ever gotten really up close and personal with a Borg ship is when they were 'allies'. The rest of the time, it's been spheres and coffins. The other time, the Borg Queen got herself tricked by Janeway (when Seven was aboard the Borg diamond), and that was how they 'scaped.

Janeway retreats where the captains of those forty starships charged.

And she has Seven.

Well, my Dad just got back from the hospital. Turns out nothing was wrong. He's sittin' on the couch, watchin' an old sitcom.

What're you up to?

Well, my sis went to work, as scheduled, However, when she left, she was a lovely shade of pale vomit green. Sure enough, a couple hours later, she came home with a 104 fever. And, after she sacked out on the couch, I didn't want to wake her up by watching a movie or turning on music or any of the things I'd planned, so instead, I sat at the computer talking to my guildmaster (whose birthday was the 24th, as well) about how birthdays just aren't all they're made out to be. And, of course, I'm comin' down with what she has. >_<

Well, my sister has a couple art mannequins, and I make clothes for them. Last year, I made an Aayla Secura spinoff for the lady. It looks a little strange...I made it with a long skirt and a top that goes down to her waist. In the end, the only thing that made it like Aayla's was the Twi'lek headpiece. For the guy, I made a Captain Panaka outfit.

Anyhoo...this year! I'm making the guy mannequin the Secret Apprentice's outfit from TFU. I would make a Juno Eclipse outfit while I'm at it, but the lady mannequin's the wrong shape.

And, the thing I was working on last year. Y'see, my whole family likes Pirates of the Caribbean. I had an idea for how to make a Jack Sparrow compass that spins erratically without provocation. I've made all the box pieces out of basswood, painted them like the real box, and I've made and painted all the dials. I'm giving everything a fresh coat now, just to make sure it all looks right.

Well, not counting my own fiction characters (), I'd say Legolas and Gimli, with Arwen and Eowyn close behind. Legolas is cool, 'cuz he's the only truly standable character in the Fellowship of the book, almost out of anyone in the whole book. There are three other not annoying characters in the book (Eowyn, Sam, and Gollum). So, that kind of colored my view of the movies, since I read the book first.

Well, Star Wars, obviously!

I really like Lord of the Rings, but I don't watch it very much. Then there's Star Trek. I've watched the originals for a few years, and last Christmas I started watching the Next Generation series. A week or two ago, I found Deep Space Nine, Enterprise, and Voyager at the library, so I'm about to start watching those. As far as the Star Trek movies go, I hate The Motion picture, Final Frontier, and The Undiscovered Country. They were just...wierd. (as opposed to Star Trek in general) I kinda-sorta like The Search for Spok, Generations, and Insurrection. I really, really like The Wrath of Khan and The Voyage Home. But, for my absolute favorite, I'm torn between First Contact and Nemesis! They are both so good, with great acting, great graphics, great plots, great characters--

I better stop there, or I'll be goin' on all night! I'm in a really 'Star Trekkie' mood at the moment, so I'm a little hyped about it.

Now that I've said all that, have you ever seen Star Trek?

Well, that makes sense. I have my own horror story about getting the trial. Okay, here I am on the home page of Star Wars: Galaxies. I've surfed the internet for the past few days, reading everything I could about it, and I've finally decided to get the trial. And now I'm ready. I hit the button. Eighteen hours later, it finishes downloading. I try to install it. It installs perfectly. I try to open it, and it comes on. I hit the 'Create Character' button, and--

Nothing happens.

Yup, something was wrong with the download! So, I set it to downloading again, just because I'm crazy. Twenty-five hours later, same thing happens. I'm fed up by now, so I finally sent a question in to the Customer Support, describing my problem. The first thing they told me to do didn't work, but then one of the people there sent me a link to a launcher that makes it a thousand times easier to download/play several MMOs (Everquest, Pirates of the Burning Sea, Star Wars Galaxies, and some others). Worked perfectly.

I swear to this day that I will NEVER download another trial from the computer! Well...at least until TOR comes out.

Well, that was because I wasn't on--trying to rebuild my lightsaber.
