Yea, I probably wouldn't mind a Star Wars What-if story. I usually like things like that--thought about writing one myself, but, like most of my things, the idea inflated into a novel-sized story, and I just don't have time for it.

I'm just sitting here, comtemplating whether or not to make a cup of Red Rose tea or peppermint tea. One other thing, though. My dad went to the hospital last night. He was having chest pain, and he's had heart problems before, so he thought he better go in. He's there now. Tomorrow morning they're gonna do a angiagram and make sure nothing's wrong.

Okay, I will admit, if they'd been wearing blue and pink, they would've looked even worse. The thing I really didn't like about the fight scenes in the first one was when Keanu/Neo was 'unwinding' from his flurries of strikes and parries, and he looked like he was flailing in the air at invisible monsters. The second one...the fight scene that mainly bothered me was the first one between Neo and the Smiths. Seriously, he looked like he was trying to be Lara Croft, Superman, Nariko, and Darth Maul all at once. And I have the perfect solution to the agent problem...

Program everyone with unleashed Force powers and every lightsaber style ever. I'd like to see one of 'em dodge a massive wave of the Force and STILL manage to not die from a lightsaber running through his neck!

Hitler, who I agree was a madman, killed approximately 20.9 million innocent non-combatants. Stalin (or Uncle Joe, as he was called by FDR), one of the Allies, killed twice that number. Later, his death rate grew to over 60 million.

FDR insisted on unconditional surrender for both the Germans and the Japanese. That basically means, "You surrender, and I'll kill you. You don't surrender, and I'll kill you." The German Resistance Movement was ended by this unreasonable demand, ending the many attempts to kill Hitler. The Japanese were prepared to surrender conditionally, but, since they believed that the Emperor was a god, they would be killing their god by surrendering to America, and that wasn't an option to them.

The atomic bombs were completely unnecessary.

Hmm, lemme see. There's (as you might have guessed from my topic in the Outlander club ) Tomb Raider: Underworld. There's also Lair, a PS2 controller adaptor, Serenity, BF2 for my PC (so I can play online), and a few Redwall books. My mom had me enlarge my list the other day, just so she'd have more options (sigh).

Hmm...well...eh...I must admit, I suffer from it periodically (like right now :/). What I usually do is go dig up some writing I did about a year and a half ago and read it, marvelling at my total and complete lack of grammar. While I'm doing so, I put in the absolute most plot-less out-of-characterist Star Trek episode I can find and listen to it while reading. That usually snaps me out of it.

Come to think of it, I need to go do some reading...

I can see how someone could see it like that, but when reading it, it doesn't seem that way.

David struck a secret cord that pleased the Lord.

This sounds a lot like King David composing a hymn to God.

Later, it refers to seeing a woman bathing on a rooftop. This sounds a lot like David seeing Bathsheba just before he commited adultery with her. The song goes on to talk about basically having sex with this woman, also parralelling the Bible story. In one of the lines, it refers to binding the singer and cutting his hair. This is quite similar to Samson and Delilah. The song keeps going on about being with this woman, and it glorifies it.

Those are my concerns about the song, at least the ones that I can think of off the top of my head. I understand how the author wrote this, but I still have a problem with it.

I can't get on to the scififleets right now, but I can in about...twenty minutes or so. BRT!

I have Republic Commando. (I've yet to get past the Geonosian Elites--I'm not very good at First Person. ) I'm not very good at BF 'cuz I'm not used to the controls yet, but I've got it.

As far as the JK series goes, I only have JO, and I'm still on level three there. (Darn Kyle for giving up his lightsaber!)
