Oy, that's a hard one... I would say probably classical as well. Classical also seems made for the violin in my opinion, but the Jigs are also very fun, so this is a very hard choice:D

No, I have not tried the Tortiga Jig sadly:) Maybe something to try though:D I do have the LoTR music for violin though:D It's quite fun:D My favorite would definately be the theme of the Rohirrim:D

Hello, Sabre! What is new?

Well, actually, I haven't practiced in a couple months...not a good thing to do, I'm getting back into it though:D When I first started a couple years ago, I was just playing for the heck of it, it was fun:D Then I began playing with a couple of friends of mine who then introduced me to a group who played for charity, church, and occasionally....cha-ching:D I like to play both classical, but most of the music that I currently have is actually mostly jigs and Irish songs, quite jolly in my opinion:D my violin is just a reg violin, nothing extremely special, but I love it, it's quite fun:D

OoOH, yes, the rowdy kids may count as hazard pay:D Charging by the hour would seem the right course, especially if the time spent playing goes well:D It's a very interesting dilemma. Reminds me of my violin playing days, hee hee, we had to guard the violins carefully, we didn't want anyone to sit on them..or else we'd charge more..hee hee:D

Well, charging is hard to do, I think. Trying to estimate is difficult, but I guess you should charge how much you think it was worth, how much do you usually charge?

So you're family is long-lived? I have a few family members that are quite long-living as well:D My granny is 99 and will be turning 100 in a couple of weeks:D Her family lived to be even older than 100{I think she'll live longer than all of them} She on time joked that I would die young like her brother...who died at age 90:D That side of the family is quite long-lived:D
