  1. Found this video of a walkthrough for Fable 3 for one of the side missions you can play and the 2 ghosts you meet in the mission are called Sam & Max (reference perhaps???) Here is the vid; (This BBCode requires its accompanying plugin to work properly.)
  2. ZeitGeist has a review up (Possible spoilers if you don't want to know what the episode is about)
  3. its offically released this Friday (27th August). I've only found it on one site so far http://www.gamersgate.co.uk/DD-BSSTDC/broken-sword-shadow-of-the-templars-directors-cut
  4. Just wondering, at the very end of TOMI where it hinted the 3rd season of Sam & Max, do you think there will be some sort of hint to what the next season will be, I'm hoping it has something to do with BTTF.
  5. Thats what this guy says http://twitter.com/KMDIGITALLTD/status/21896178570
  6. I just read the new blog posted over at TellTale and for next 3 weeks theres a sale on where you can get the whole season 3 or complete collection of Sam & Max seasons cheap. From reading this and reading forum posts it sounds like their hinting that episode 5 of The Devils Playhouse won't be released until mid-September (ish) during the sale period. I'm surprised as I thought it was scheduled for August. Rumours going around is that they've done this to help shorten the gap between this season ending and the rumoured start up of the Back to the Future episodes near the end of the year. Some people believe the 1st episode of BTTF will be out by late October around the time the film trilogy comes out on Blu-Ray which i think would be too soon.
  7. I think the second episode is not far off from release as the achievements have been revealed http://www.xbox360achievements.org/game/deathspank-tov/achievements/ Looks like its called DeathSpank: T.O.V Don't know what T.O.V means but I'm guessing its "Thong of Vengeance"
  8. Sometimes, but I usually read Eurogamer more it depends if Kotaku has anyhting worth mentioning.
  9. from Kotaku New Lucasarts president Paul Meegan certainly isn't wasting any time. Barely two months into the job and we hear he's already swinging the axe and cancelling high profile sequels. If you were wondering why it was strange that Force Unleashed II creative director Haden Blackman would leave mid-project, this may explain things: according to sources at Lucasarts, Meegan has cancelled a third Force Unleashed game that was already in development, and members of Force Unleashed II's team (though we're not sure exactly how many) will be shown the door once that game ships. Another unnamed project, due to ship next year, has avoided the axe, but has been "put on hold" while developers have been told to "expect management and reporting changes". Those changes are down to the departure of Blackman, who as work was winding down on Force Unleashed II had been leading development on this secret project. These sources say "morale and productivity are at all-time lows" since Meegan took over, with most Lucasarts developers only finding out about Force Unleashed II's cancellation on the PSP by reading it on gaming news sites. We've also been told that another sweeping change made by Meegan is that the majority of "external" development of Lucasarts properties is coming to an end, with BioWare's Old Republic MMO to be the last game not developed internally at Lucasarts. That would presumably mean, for example, no more LEGO Star Wars or LEGO Indiana Jones titles after the upcoming LEGO: Clone Wars, as those have all been handled by Traveller's Tales. So, yes, if this is all indeed correct, big changes are afoot at the house that Star Wars built. Lots of them bad news for the developers currently there, but looking at the big picture, the silver lining could be that such drastic shake-ups could be exactly what's needed at a publisher and developer that, courtesy of its licenses and history, should be doing a lot better both commercially and critically than it currently is. We've contacted Lucasarts for comment, and will update if we hear back.
  10. Into the 1,200s now, hope more will sign it , it may not be a LucasArts title but at least give it a chance if you haven't played Toonstruck this is an oppotunity and we could see it get released finally onto GOG.com
  11. Looks like its gradually increasing as theres now over 200 signatures, still hope more will sign it.
  12. I posted this on GOGs forums as theres quite a fanbase for the game on there which may help get a few more signatures hopefully. This should be on the front page so it helps gain more attention. I know its not a Lucas title but people should know what Toonstruck is and how great it was and its excellent that Keith Arem is willing to re-release it with the second half of the game that was originally cut so we can all experience the real ending and how it should have originally played out.
  13. Just seen this over on adventuregamers and thought this may interest fans of this underrated classic; originally posted by toonstrucktwo http://www.adventuregamers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=27388 "For all of you who were/are fans of the original, the unparalleled, Toonstruck the tremendously underrated DOS point-and-click adventure starring none other than Christopher Lloyd and Ben Stein and featuring the voice talents of Tress MacNeille (The Simpsons, Futurama), Dan Castellaneta (Homer Simpson), Dom DeLuise (many a Mel Brooks and Don Bluth film), Tim Curry (Rocky Horror) among many others, today is your lucky day, hopefully to be followed by even luckier days to come. Music director Keith Arem, the rights holder for the Toonstruck and the unreleased material which was to become the second half of the game but was cut before the final release due to software limitations at the time (this was 1996), has expressed interest in dusting the cobwebs off the ill-fated sequel and releasing it for several platforms pending sufficient fan support. The entirety of the correspondence detailing this new and exciting information can be found at this thread inside the Toonstruck 2 Fan Project forum; the only corner of the internet concerned with a Toonstruck sequel until about three hours ago." To quote Mr. Arem: "...While the game was internationally critically acclaimed, the game did not receive the sales we hoped, and the second half was never released. Now that my career has developed, I would like to re-release an updated version of Toonstruck to include the 2nd half of the game (iPad, online, etc), but I would need tremendous fan support to justify its release..." 14. Nearly there, they just need to add the intro into the special edition mode and everything should be okay. Although i hear theres still a music cue timing issue mainly at the Booty Island guardhouse scene with the LeChuck costume.
  15. Basically its a patch fix for all the sound issues, I hope LucasArts didn't just focus on those responses to the sound issues from their Facebook page and hope they still will include the opening intro in another patch.
  16. Just read this on Bill Tillers Twitter No CMI SE for me. Not sure there will even be one. Bummed.
  17. Apparenty the character Eubrick in DeathSpank knows the secret to Monkey Island.
  18. bit of a talk spoiler so be warned if you don't want to know; Just heard a reference to MI on DeathSpank, anyone whos played it will have met an old guy called Eubrick (has an axe in his back). DeathSpank asks him later in the game if he has anymore exhilarating stories to tell. Eubrick starts talking about things hes done and what he knows throughout the years and one of them he mentions is that he knows what the secret of Monkey Island is. Deathspank replies and tells him he doesn't really want to know what it is.
  19. Just realised at the end of that vid when LeChuck changes into SOMI Guybrush, why couldn't have they used that model of the character in the first SE instead of the other one it looks a lot better.
  20. Actually that is in the game you have to get the fish before talking to the fisherman then place the bet with him and then give him the fish and he starts to pretend hes catching it next to him.
  21. Maybe it could be an idea to create a "What If" video with this. Someone could get a video of the original title sequence and put the new version of the MI 2 theme over it so we could see what it would have sounded like if they had left it in.
  22. I've just finished the Steam version and I agree its the best out of all of them in terms of controls, iMuse and transitions they are definitley better then what they are on the consoles.
  23. Just completed 360 version and got all 12 achievements, gonna go through it again to listen to all the commentary tracks can't wait to hear it. EDIT: Actually I may listen to the commentary on Steam as I'm not as fussed for the achievements on there and mouse is much better then controller anyday
  24. really? I just checked and it says its out in 6 hours
  25. If LucasArts are reading this (and also on there Facebook page too) they'll hopefully get a fix out ASAP for these issues, this is ridiculous.
