For me, my excitement was through the roof. I believe it was just the verbal announcement, but Ron-fans knew there was no joke on his blog. The violin trailer dropped and it was the beginning of the end. But I hadn't yet realized how far some fans would take it. I was excited and happy. I told my pregnant girlfriend what this game series meant to me, and what it means to me that a new one comes out, and that it's made by no other than Ron himself, tying up loose ends that have been loose for 30 years. This was my cross of Coronado. A lot of who I am today comes from these games putting their "hat" on my head when I was a kid. I have grown up with this series and now there was closure in sight. And what a closure it was. Thanks Ron and team, for having done this. How did you feel a year ago? How about now? Let's return to Return together!

You can probably assume that the vast majority of Monkey Island players experienced the games on SCUMM VM with square pixels, so it should be fine You could exhibit them through a curved lens, and make the experience even more authentic

Amazing! Don't feel obligated, and perhaps you've already disassembled the Guybrush, but I think it would be cool if you could get your LEGO-Guybrush to spin, similar to the reference voxel animation. Maybe by some stop motion trickery or placing him on a spinning table. I can't wait for the next one!

Hadn't finished the chapter yet when you posted this, but by now I have and now I can comment on this. Really liked this one. Again a chapter full of vivid descriptions, and that twist was despite the speed at which it came, well earned. I've seen this style of hinting at the character's inner identity in other books too and it's a trope I absolutely love. It allows the writer to write outward actions, even thoughts, matching one mindset, and yet hint simply with the name, that their subconscious has a different idea. You feel brilliant when you catch it emerging. In some works, there are also phases when the author uses a "fakish" name e.g. a more formal name for a character, but in one moment, the "real" name comes back and you know, boom!, a transformation happened and now things are gonna get real!
