  1. My stages of dealing with the ending:

    1. Slight disappointment.
    2. Think about it for ten minutes; things sink in; not actually that disappointed.
    3. Think about that I've been thinking about it for ten minutes -- must mean they've done something right.
    4. Appreciation sinks in. It was the "right" thing to do.
    5. Set up the second play-through. Plan on re-watching Twin Peaks: The Return.
      1. (And possibly The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari.)

    I want to read a last-minute interview WITH @Remi.

Remi, how are you? What are your thoughts a day before this game releases? How did you know to reserve the name decades ago? How do you feel about your future fight of Search Engine Optimization to filter specifically to you? Would you change your name of it was Michael Bolton?

I never got the connection. ReMI/Remi. Huh!

would the Pirate Leaders have forgotten that Guybrush already showed them proof of two trials?

Un-spoiled that line as it's not a spoiler (unless you haven't played MI1) -- you don't have to show the Pirate Leaders the proof. Collecting all three before going to see them is entirely possible -- though, of course, they'll be gone by then -- so it just depend on what option they decide to go with in ReMI.

Oh man, so: I enjoyed Crystal Skull a lot back then. But I remember liking it because I didn‘t want to dislike it. I defended it mostly because hating on it bummed me out.

I should watch it again, it‘s been ages.

I do like the fridge though, it‘s so outrageous it makes me happy they went for it. I especially liked the end image, Indy looking at the mushroom cloud. Talking about realism bores me to death.

I did something similar. Then I got called out on it. Then this happened.

For Switch, it’s either midnight EST or noon EST.

If it’s midnight EST and you live on the West Coast, like me, you’ll be able to play it at 9pm on the 18th.

I was able to do that with other games I preordered in the past. :)

I'm gambling on the 9 pm time slot, too, though 9 am seems more plausible if they want to keep the #MonkeyIslandMonday thing going.

I'm sure I'm missing something here and I don't even understand if Tim is sarcastic or not, in this tweet, but I wonder:  why selling stuff to LeChuck/Largo/Voodoo Priest should make the Voodoo Lady a bad person or an antagonist? 🤔

She just sells stuff, including a Love bomb to Wally, completely disregarding which poor person would have been forced to love him.

I think they said in the commentary that she's basically more of a "double agent," more interested in her own agenda. Something like that.

I also specifically remembered him live-posting about finding the moment when the voodoo lady talked through a pile of dead crabs, but can’t find a tweet like that, only the post-game summary. So who knows.

That's one of the tweets. Like I said, there were a couple but nothing like the MI2SE deluge.

At one point Tim basically live tweeted his playthrough of TMI. Dunno if those still exist, but I remember him having fun with it.

You keep saying that, but he truly 100% didn't and I'm saying that as someone who took your word for it -- ¬ -- and spent hours trying to find them. He did maybe three tweets, the death of the seagull being the central part of it.

I did salvage his MI2 tweets, though.

The Special Editions too had console ports, but from what I hear, they were just "move the mouse cursor with the joystick", which is never fun.

MI1 was... not good... but MI2 had a point and click interface more tailored to consoles and it worked surprisingly well. Quick and responsive. Fairly sure ReMI will be more custom tailored, though, as it sounds like they spent a lot of time on the control schemes.

Oh, wait, sorry, I thought this was about manipulating @Remi

Is it wrong that I'm thinking of taking the day off work for playing on launch day? I am not very strong willed and can easily see myself trying to find all the spoilers online. Should imagine some rum might be nice to sip on, or some nice green grog if I can find tankards strong enough for it.

PS: It's also the Quantum Leap premiere that day, so I'm in geek heaven.

    >:

I took three days off. Judge if you like, but that Quantum Leap admission will forever hang over you. ;-*
