    I suspect we'll see him in similar intervals as we did in CMI. Going by the #MonkeyIslandMonday teaser set on Monkey, it's implied that Murray makes his way to the island by himself. That's the sort of thing we saw in CMI.

    I'm thinking the plethora of Murray appearances might be a bit of pandering to the CMI crowd. So much of the marketing is aimed at fans of the two originals, so it'd make sense to throw some morsels to those who consider CMI to be the pinnacle of the series.

     

    Or maybe I'm completely wrong and Murray will be a constant sidekick. 🤷‍♂️

    While we haven't had an official editorial meeting about it, we'll definitely make sure to keep it spoiler free for a couple of weeks. There'll obviously be some news, but we have a spoiler tag for anything minor -- the major stuff will be links to elsewhere, internally (separate page, below the cut, etc.) or externally.

    So let me backtrack... maybe I didn't read that those things were put in against Ron's will. I read that they were thrown in as a just-in-case room for a sequel, but they were unrelated to the ending's true meaning. Put that on Bill Tiller! :)

     

    Ah yeah, that old article might look very outdated two weeks from now, but I think it held its own at the time. We'll see soon enough!

    We’ve seen, what, two dialogue trees? I’m sure there is plenty of silliness in the game — see the burp teaser — but looking at the dialogue with the pirate leaders specifically, it seems like a natural progression from MI2. There wasn’t a lot of “I want to be a fireman” in that game, either. Nor should there have been — Guybrush had shed a bit of his naïveté at that point.

    I would like to propose a small change: I tried to share it somewhere and the title in the snippet was simply "The International House of Mojo", because that's the text in the "og:title" and "twitter:title".

     

    And well... it doesn't explain to the casual viewer what the thing is. What about changing "title", "og:title" and "twitter:title" to "Mixnmojo's Return to Monkey Island countdown!" or something similar?

     

    And maybe even writing a description?

    If we don't get a code, we'll probably just write something based on the screenshots.

     

    But really, should we post something, we'll probably do what we've been doing over the last years -- an impression of the first two hours or so with minimal spoilers. (Then something larger a while later -- we're gonna milk this cow dry.)

    Ditto, though I also feel appreciation for his contribution has increased over the last few years. Listening to his MI2SE commentary shows his influence on both the world of the games and Guybrush as a character. In a sense he balances out Ron’s cynicism and Tim’s boyish enthusiasm, and they may have been missed by some/many. I’m stoked he’s back for ReMI.
