I watched all of the movies, but it's been a long time, I also used to watch the cartoon, i was pretty cool.

Highlander 3 was shot, in parts, in my hometown, it was pretty funny to see some places 15 minutes away suppoesed to be in Japan

Highlander! There Can Be Only One!

(which means no crappy sequels all which were really bad.)

and no TV series

and no tv\movie tie in with both MacClouds

because as Sean Connery said

and this applies to watching all the sequels

"it hurts"

The first one rocked.

The second one sucked

The third one sucked

The fourth one could actually have been very good if they had just fixed a few problems.

I didn't see much of the TV series, as i don't have sky, but what i saw did seem pretty good. The endig to the first series was great. The series did a good job of rounding out the mythology and creating some consistent rules that numbers 2 and 3 had destroyed.

I was going to buy the 5 disc collectors series, as it was under 20 quid. But nowhere seems to have it in stock at the moment. Im interested to see the alternate versions of numbers 2 and 4 as well to see if they fix them at all.

THe cartoon series was terrible, but then whoever thought of making a kids tv series out of a film about people CHOPPING OFF PEOPLE'S HEADS deserves to be shot. :D

Most essentially: Christopher Lamberts hair...oi vey...

well, the hair, and the holy ground killing having an underwhelming effect, and the bad guy killing the other baddies so easily, and the terrible sfx at the end.

Donnie Yen rocked though, and his swordfight with Duncan was excellent.
