Jabba The Hunt
Well thats it guys I'm off to Uni on friday, and my course starts on monday. I might still be able to pop back now and then (why would I want to spend the little time I'll get on the net here though ), but it looks unlikely that I'll have the internet in my accomadation atleast for the first year. I think when I first joined here, well for one thing my english was a little worse and well my behaviour , anyway... you guys were either preparing to go to uni or already there or some of you in work (expect Milkshake (I know you still lurk here) and a few others). Well its been a great time, I wish you all the best of luck, your all getting settled into lives now (going off getting married etc), where as I guess I'm just starting mine. Erm not much else to say, except bye, oh and I never did get my post count restored
Wildstar
Hey Jabba Was wondering where you're going to school. Most colleges in here in the States have started already. Anyway, I wish you well w/ your studies and don't forget to keep us posted.

Gold leader
In XWA.net's great thread-hijacking tradition, I use this topic to announce that I have all my study credits for my B.Sc. title! Actual graduation won't happen until december, but still I thought it worth of telling you guys. You'd better start saving, Niner...
Jabba The Hunt
I cant believe I forgot to tell you all what I was studying, yeah edlib is right, I'm doing a computing course, and yeah its just the one. Its a 4 year sandwich course (if you dont know what that is it means I have a 3rd year work placement), and is a Bsc Hons. I've got to pack my computer up soon and its just gone midnight here (we are leaving 9:00 tommorrow or today, i cant never tell). Anyway I'll try to get on the net in the library but from what I can gather its jammed full, i mean with 12,000 students what do they expect? Anyway gtg, c ya all later. Nute Gunray
psh, 12,000 students. That's only a mid sized school in the glorious America. Penn State, the monster system I'm in, has nearly 42,000 at the main campus and 41,000 more spread out at the twenty-two other sites. BTW, the University of Texas at Austin is the largest in the US with 50,600. That's larger than the town I'm from. There's only 3700 of us here at my campus though. It's also in the middle of the woods.

Jabba The Hunt
Well I've just managed to catch a few mins on the net during a "course tutorial", which is basically a bitchin session. Milkshake I should be going home around the 12th of December, and I have to leave again on the 8th Jan. If you can make it back for our cold english winters that would be great, though I remember the problems you had when you came back from florida to our cool summers, jumpers and all
Jem
*Points and laugh at the ignorance of the meaning of the word "cold" and it's foolish association to english winter*
Flying Beastie
Agreed. Ottawa is about 98% concrete & steel. It radiates cold in winter. You can get frostbite through three layers of wool scarfs. And I can't even wear one scarf 'cause it fogs my glasses.
