He talked with Jay Leno about Episode III, and mentioned the following: ''Didn't die like a punk either!'' I remember it quite good, saw the same show like 2 days later, (re-plays or something) and he said that. So if Anakin kills him, his vision of toughness is kind of low and non realistic. I think Mace didn' t like a punk, as he said... I think many people attacked him at once, or that he fought alot and was hard to beat. I am guessing he lasted long, but I still think Anakin got the last blow by Palpatine, freeily. Opinions, thoughts?

Master William Posted October 15, 2003 Author Posted October 15, 2003 When I think about it, Anakin is not supposed to be a ''whiny punk'' or something. It is not bad being killed by the Chosen One. No surprise if his powers got stronger than YODAS. He is the Chosen One, he is stronger than people think. If he has the rank of a Jedi Padawan, he really hasthe power of a Jedi Knight.

Prime Posted October 16, 2003 Posted October 16, 2003 IIRC, on TheForce.net there were reports that it is infact both Anakin and Palpatine dispensing with Mace. Apparently Palpatine displays his skills RotJ style.

The Cheat Posted October 17, 2003 Posted October 17, 2003 guess he just isnt as good as yoda (i always yell at characters to use force powers from jedi outcast, when qui-gon was dying i was yelling FORCE HEAL! FORCE HEAL!)
