usksap03
Does the PC game allow the use of a gamepad or controller?
Sam Fisher
Joystick, yes, gamepad, I don't think so, but you can try setting up the joystick, then use the controller.
idontlikegeorge
After learning mouse-keyboard for FPS, I can't stand playing FPS/3dPS on console systems.

I've played on a server where a person claimed to be using a gamepad, so I think it is possible. Not sure though. eniaC With the amount of keys a keyboard has in comparison to a pad, and the control of the mouse vs. the stick or d-pad, the choice is obvious which to use. It's much better in the long run I'm sure. http://www.rising-storm.com
sights0d
It depends on the controller, I believe. Saitek usually has a customizable doohicky that will let you emulate a joystick.

Kurgan
All games that use the Q3 engine have joystick support in them (and this helps for the ones that have been ported to console systems in general). I haven't tried out the joystick support on JK2 or JA, but you're welcome to try... and send Raven feedback about it.
Prime
The gamepad should wok just like any input. It is unlikely the game could tell the difference. What really matters is how many buttons you have available. Still, the mouse and keyboard setup is the only way to go in my opinion
Troopr-Undr-Fir
Yeah i have a microsoft sidewinder, with a usb port, and i used it once. But IMO its not worth the mapping of keys . but if you like a challenge, by all means use the gamepad...
