Sam Fisher
Non-Jedi can't use Lightsabers. I'm almost finished with the game, last world. But, I have yet to go Dark:D BTW, I used Jolee to rescue everyone on the Leviathin. He turned out to be pretty good

Neverhoodian
I've hardly seen, let alone played any of KOTOR. I got a few glimpses at my friend's house. His older brother was playing on Tatooine and fighting a few Tusken raiders. That was about all I've seen of the game. I just wanted to know, is the game easy to learn for the RPG deficient? (a.k.a. me) The game really looks good, but is it good enough to hook a Star Wars geek who's really not that interested in RPG's?
obi
@Neverhoodian- YES. I too was a dummy when it came to RPGs, but I played this game easily. Whats so great about it is that it's really easy to learn how to play. Trust me, it will even suck you into wanting to play more RPGs.

Very easy to learn you'll pick up on things after first planet then after you beat game you'll want to go back and find all the secrets and extra quests. TiE23
Carth = I NEVER USE HIM AFTER TARIS Mission = To weak Jolee = THE FREAKING BEST!!!! His robot killing force powers are awesome Zallbbar = Very Strong Juhani = To weak The Little droid = With the computer probes, he can hack into anything with cause he has 30 computer points HK-47 = Can't use swords, not a good thing Bastila = Shes okay The first time I played, went from Dantooine, to Tatooine, to Kyyshyyt, to Mannan, to Koriban Second time - Tatooine and now on Mannan The best last planet to go to is Koriban, really fun with high powers TiE
FLaM-DraG
I'm going to agree with Tie 23's summaries on the characters. By the way it really sucks being banned of Manaan when you get under the ocean, polute the water with the toxin to kill the shark.
Sam Fisher
Carth = You can use him to talk to Dustil on Korriban. Mission = To weak (agreed) Jolee = He really isn't good at the start, but in the later missions, he is very helpful. Zallbbar = Very Strong ( though I never used him after Taris) Juhani = To weak (Are you CRAZY!!!! If only know the power of upgrading her yourself, she can get very good. The Little droid = I didn't use him except for his spikes. HK-47 = Only used for comic relief(and translating) Bastila = the same thing with Bastila as with Juhani. They are thebest two Jedi that can come with you until Bastila goes away.

Lost Welshman
Ok. Now I have to play this game again. Damn you! Anyhoo. Remember, once you've completed it on the dark side/ light side, then you can play it again and 'fall in love' with people and play with their minds. Mmwa ha ha! Also.... Train you computer skills as much as poss.... because... When you get to the star forge level, if you have a million med packs, you can go the wrong way on Deck 2, and reach a room with a computer in it. Use the computer and use the star forge to create robes. Proper robes, with hoods and all. You can either have the Light Side Robes. Or The Dark Side Robes (Revan's). Also. There are a bunch of guys that Malak sucks the force from. If you're feeling evil, you can use force drain and take the energy for youself. Or, if you are feeling a little more lovely, then there is another force that will free them, and allow them to become one with the force. I think it was Force Resiliance, if that is one. Enjoy kicking Malak's ass. Again. He was pathetic on the Leviation.

I would train someone else with computer skills and use them to hack the computers that way you can focus on gettting your skills up on combat. legameboy
I loved the game, although I was expecting a Morrowind, Morrowind is a free and moddible(sp) as it gets just about. My character was uber evil, and had veins popping out and his eyes were pale and yellow... hehe, I loved the game! I think I'll play it again! Lol. RoguePhotonic
Damn programmers...I got to manaan and I went straight to the sith base and I got to one of the last doors and it wont open..I picked up everything in the base and went everywhere so I know nothing in the base will open it and my hacking skills are as high as the game allows and I can't pick it...so that's it...7 and a half hours of playing and just....game over. I tried leaving but it does the typical getting arrested and nothing you say in court will work because I did not finish the sith base...they kill you anyway. I was pure evil to...guess I wont know how the game goes with that...I probably wont play it again.

RoguePhotonic
Yep...I believe since I never took any missions to go there the scripting has the door closed though why?....seems odd. And it seems like they would have fixed that...the first time I played the game and I killed the sith in the hanger I had the option to go to the sith base but I didn't because I didn't know about it..what if I had?...game over then to? It's the door right before you get to the natives training to be sith to take over the government.
Samuel Dravis
I think you have to get the Republic's droid data back first... It's a large heap of metal in one of the rooms.
golferbr
I have used Jolee, Juhani and the little droid, not HK-47 for it so far.
RoguePhotonic
I've done that...I just went back and made sure I didn't miss anything but nothing...the door is just simply locked. Times like this when I wish the game had a no clip option.

Sam Fisher
I think you have to open the door with a computer, the reception(sp?) desk, or one of the others.
