Then the shutter falls...

All right, so you guys remember how I was trying to learn how to play the guitar, right? Well, I'm still trying!

Anyway, today is my first gig with my family. We're playing a set at a Christmas tree festival, and I'm singing and playing the aforementioned instrument. I'm pretty nervous. What if I suddenly get laryngitis...or break an arm....or something horrible like that....?

I've got to go....wish me luck, or curse me, or something.

Christmas tree festival? how come you didn't tell me about that?

Good luck Alia!

If you break a string, just start pointing up at the sky going OH MY GOD! What is THAT???? and then sprint off the stage and escape.

Ooh. Did you psychically tell me to do that earlier? Because when I was messing with the stupid strap, it came off and the guitar fell and made a large, funny noise. My parents didn't think it was very funny, though. And my mom had a problem with the way I dressed, too. She threatened to ground me for life...and I....I..can't say it. - I laughed in her face. Diplomatically speaking, a bad move.

Wrong forum for that answer! *shakes head* Tsk, tsk, tsk...

Of course Alia'd have to yell "LOOK BEHIND YOU!! A THREE-HEADED MONKEY!!"

As a beginner you'll most likely screw some chord up or make some other mistake. When this happens, pay no attention to it, only continue playing. The guitar is a nice instrument, 'cause you can fake it all you want.:D

Except for your band, who will stop all music, grab your arms, legs, and hair, and throw you outside naked in the snow when you mess up.

Think positive.

Why didn't I see this here? I'm going to go to the past and say good luck to Alia, before she even left. But I am also going to warn her what will happen. Dude, I hope it's not too late.

I thought this was going to be about shutters falling off windows and crushing people to death. That would have been amusing.

Good luck anyway, you false-subject-writer person.

I was quoting a song. I didn't expect you, you ESPECIALLY Huz, to get it.

That reminds me. I have no idea why I didn't mention it before, but this funny kid suddenly materialized beside me before I went onstage. She said, "You're going to drop your guitar and insult your mother! Good luck!"

Huh.

Tonight at 1, on Channel 13 News: Shutter falls off window and crushes Peg! Foul play suspected. You don't wanna miss this!
