idontlikegeorge
Woa woa woa, now... this thread is about the nerd crack of gaming, not the nerd crack of skateboarding. Back 10-15 years or so when I was a youngin' I used to like skateboarding... but after making love to the asphalt and concrete too many times, I decided to forget about it, and go play Skate Or Die on my NES. (Not as bad off as my friend, he dug into the street using his chin now, he can't have a goatee, because no hair will grow on his chin! ) Anyway, nothing wrong with gaming. It's just something to do in your spare time.

That was when they had decent skateboards ... my parents found my old one when clearing the garage, and I gave it to my kids to play with. It was all the rage in ~1974 or so - about 4" wide with a narrow front and a 'spoiler' on the back. Mike

SpaceButler14
And playing video games is no less "honorable" a hobby than say sitting in front of a TV watching sports, drinking beer, playing golf, working on a greasy old car, collecting baseball cards or whatever other hobby is deemed appropriate for an adult man NOOOOOO KURGAN! Don't lump it in with trash like that! Now that is embarassing!

And even when you dont go outside or to parties and YOU JUST SIT HERE PLAYING ALL THE TIME NONSTOP its not a problem cause us OLD PEOPLE ARE GROWN! WE CAN DO WHAT WE LIKE!@!! Marcus(JSA)
Well I'm 24.5, my mate who I introduced to the game recently is 25 and I know a lot of people aged between 20 and 35 who play Star Wars Galaxies. The only thing to worry about is arthritis, coz I doubt you can do a Saber twirl, flip 20 feet in the air and mash your saber down through your opponents head when your fingers are all seized up! New emot: /amweak - makes character shake violently, drop their saber and collapse onto their knees!

Missed that one Oh well - I tried to put in a banana board picture ... the link was dead ... I still like the 'you're too old when you're dead' quote. And, regardless of my 'youth-challenged' state (remember, no one has problems of their own - they either have a disability or it is the state's fault somehow) ... I ain't dead yet! •-BLaCKouT-•
I'm 30. And damned immature for my age too And I find I can be a lot more relaxed about playing online too. I have real-life things to actually care about. Damn whiners moaning every time you walk more than three steps without bowing, or actually kill one of them - I play games to have fun. And if that involves some 11 year-old working himself into a fit in his bedroom, then so be it. If I want to snipe people from the other end of the map... I will Go ahead and kick me, I'll find another server to do it on ...geez, where did that come from? Seriously though, you're never to old to plug-in for a couple of hours. And if you can sink a couple of beers while you're on, all the better! B.

Kramerika
Banana skateboards... I got my share of scraped knees from those! pic 1 pic 2 pic 3 pic 4 pic 5 Any of you old foggies looking for a server should check out our Jedi Academy server. We're looking for more mature, laid-back players to populate it. Right now we are running CTF/Team FFA, but we are open to suggestions. We also have weapons limited mostly to the weapons found in the movies as we're kind of purists. [OSF] The Forest Moon of Endor 66.28.14.60:29070 Kansas City, KS USA www.osfhome.com We are also not a "clan" that is interested in competition or getting wrapped up in that "we're better than you" attitude. We're a community of people (from all over the USA, Canada, and the world) who like to relax by playing games when they have free time with others who have a similar attitude. Our average age is probably in the 30's, so if that sounds like something that might interest you, check us out!
