lukeiamyourdad
Awesome! I've always wanted a good Star Wars War FPS. This is gonna be so good:D Hey does the place need mods
swphreak
hmmm, no Jedi. This might be interesting indeed. And I notice some Clone War screenies. This will include both the Clone Wars and Galactic Civil War eras? I'm slowly getting excited about the game.
Miko Reglia
yay! i loved bf1942, i love star wars, i think this game will suit my needs real well:)
ExcelsioN
This game looks good, especially as its BF1942 meets Star Wars (a great combo). But it's gonna have to be able to compete with the likes of Joint Operations and Battlefield: Vietnam if they want it to sell.
Hermie
GameSpy: What about special characters that you can unlock, like Darth Vader? Will you play them, or will you just have them as A.I. controlled allies? Will you be able to use them in every map? Borrud: I don't want to go into this too much yet, but we do have several of the main characters from the movies appearing in the game. I can tell you that they will be A.I. controlled and you will be able to fight alongside them (or against them). looking good! here will not be a traditional Jedi class as they really don't have many weaknesses. We wanted to focus the game about being in the trenches, the grunts, the soldiers. Not on being the über-powerful characters from the films. looking really good! I cant wait! need it now!! The_One
This article has really put at ease several of my early reservations about the game - and it all looks like it's shaping up to be a great Star Wars game. Let's hope the developers do this title the justice it rightly deserves

Judging by the huge success of BF1942, MP will be a lot more fun. I also reckon that more people will buy, and play online, the PC version. But its your descision. Would it have enoguh buttons though? I think a game like this would play better on a mouse and keyboard then on a controller.
The_One
Why on earth would anyone in their right mind want to play a game like this with a game pad? Mouse and keyboard is the only way to go! The PC version will rule all, or so I hope
Hermie
yes, you cant buy a game like this on a freaikn' console. one reason?? All Seeing Eye!!!
lukeiamyourdad
Eh... Not only would it be hard to use every possible commands on a simple gamepad, the MP side of the game would ruined on a console. MP on a console is a nightmare. My friend is sunscribed to X Box live and all you hear in your headphones are people swearing...at leats on PC you can kick them out
ExcelsioN
The PC version will be the best, easily. Imagine trying to use voice chat on a PS2 controller but trying to fire at the same time. Also, there's going to be tons more people playing SWBF online on the PC because so many more people have a net connection for their PC. One last thing, I hope this game answers the question of how people get in an AT-AT.
Hermie
my guess is pilot, gunner, (gunner), and at least 10 transport places.
The_One
I hope they have "joint" servers - where we can go and kick all the PS2 players' asses Now that would be what I'd call "getting your money's worth"
Hermie
hell yea  espesially if no one of them have headsets . I can see commands streaming up on the right side of the screens from the computer guys, while all PS2/Xbox owners are dead silent.

I always convinced him PC was a million times better, even w/o MP..and now the consoles think they got it as well it sucks major time..they even intended to deliver keyboards for the consoles for 'proper gameplay'..by transforming your console into a pc :\ Keyboard rules, ok your hand feels more comfortable with a ngc controller, and I tried joypads but I immediately gave it back to my friend from who i borrowed it, it's just not..well I use the keyboard too much.. Then people can get in through a side or rear door. Once everyone's in the legs go into the upright position. I seem to remember seeing AT-ATs being dropped off on a planet in a game cutscene, or something. I can't remember where though.

It would take quite a bit of animanting though.
