VanLingo
Do you think some of the maps, vehicles, and/or characters should be unlockable by playing the single-player or by reaching a certain rank online? And what about character tweaking? Would it be too un-balancing? -- Lingo
Ewok Homie
I think vehicles should be unlocked, for example there is a secret way to get to the Naboo hangor. Once you get there, you see 4 Naboo star fighters and 1 Naboo cruiser. You can hop into one of the ships and attack the Federation head on. Doomie
i voted for noothing AND for character tweaking, because when you play online, everyone should be equal, but when you play alone, it would be cool to get better. it would also rock that when you finish single player under special circumstaces you can play again as a jedi sith, including saber. Like leading a battallion of stormies into battle as vader! it would be neat! And by the way, luv your RPG:) will you join mine?
Glacius1
Character tweaking certainly wouldnt be suitable for MP, everyone should be equal indeed. I dont know about unlocking things because I just think everything should be available straight up.
Alegis
Maps maybe.. vehicles and weapons would be cool.. Classes very maybe, it depends which get ruled out... the strongest. but if there is a strongest class then everyone would be that one when it would be unlocked..same classes all time would be better
dark jedi 8
i think everything should be available on MP, but to make SP more fun they should include some unlockables. like playing as a jedi/sith, more/better weapons, vehicles, maps. something like that. lukeiamyourdad
Originally posted by tFighterPilot No Jedi, no Sith, not in this game! AMEN! Absolutely nothing should be "unlockable", especially character tweaking in MP. That would be a nightmare! Horrible one. There should be some Easter eggs though in SP That's always fun! Global Strike
I agree. I think player tweaking for mp and other unlockables would suck. Maybe single but definitley not mutiplayer. :jawa
VanLingo
Doomgiver -- Thanks for the compliment. Unfortunately, I can't jump in now. I never know when I'll be on, and I'm currently writing a fanfic offline for TheForce.net. Everyone else -- Hasn't anyone ever played Tiger Woods or Tony Hawk's Pro Skater online? If you're given a set number of points to allocate, it should stay fairly balanced. Even so, character tweaking may be a bit too far, but I definitely think that weapons and maps should be unlockable, and maybe even vehicles. It just seems too cheap to start with everything. Where's the challenge? You're going to lose some, win some every time. But if you're playing to unlock the gunship... think of the difference it would make to give people more specific goals to play toward. -- Lingo

That would be cool (but are there naboo satfighters in the game?). In this case you can see the unlockables as an objective. I don't like the idea of something you unlock for all games (kill 100 people and your gun will be twice as strong).
