X-Box price drops to $149.99US=I GOT X-BOX!

My mo goes to costco pretty much every week with my grandma to get various household necessities. While there, I had talked her into letting me get a new gamecube game...instead I saw the X-Box budle(system, extra controller, dvd playback kit, and star wars clone wars and tetris)...I remembered the price drop and saw the new price...$189.99. SO I am now the proud new owner oof an X-Box, and later we're going to wal-mart to buy games(KotoR, Splinter Cell, etc).

Now if you'll excuse me, I must do the dishes to pay for it...

Well, consoles really are crap. All crap. Its just that they have games made spicifically for 'em, so it has good graphics.

Its that PC is simply better, and will probabley ride over all console in the future.

No hard feelings to those that think XBOX is God.

That could go down as the most ridiculous argument against consoles....ever.

PC's will NEVER take the multiplayer hang out with buds and play videogames away from consoles. They just aren't built that way. Four buds hanging out playing some Xbox is a great way to spend an evening, and to pull it off with computers EVERYONE needs to bring theirs, set up the LAN, big time consuming mess.

Plus, there are a lot of games that I feel are better played on a console.

(Morrowind, KOTOR, Halo, Splinter Cell, and any sports game to name a few)

That. Splitscreen = evil.

Sports games aren't splitscreen.

Furthermore, you can system link Xbox's to eliminate the problem of screen lookers, and with only 4 Xbox's you have potential for 16 player action, and you can still trash talk and scream and yell and have a good ol time.

It is true, I've seen it. Getting 16 people together for massive Halo is way fun. You get much more into the game when you hear the reactions of your enemies in the other room.

So you really get 16 TVs together? Yeah...and for hearing your opponent scream in rage/frustration, there's always voice chat. Oh well. If you want to spend your money on it, don't let me stop you.

Besides, I don't like sports games, and don't listen to arguments in their favor. :)

Samuel...

Can you tell me the fun of sitting by yourself in front of the computer when you can get together with a bunch of your buds for some good ole gaming fun?

I just don't see how they would compare. But that is just my opinion.

*Gets out a fresh, $149.99 Xbox, and whacks Samuels head with its 8 pounds of power and hard, bullet reisistant plastic covering, then starts choking him with controller cord till he is unconcious, then inserts Metal Arms and starts playing.*

no. FOUR TV's. You system link FOUR Xbox's and you get 16 players. and voice chat is nothing compared to being able to run into your enemies room and insult them to their faces.

lol, true
