Sivy Posted April 5, 2004 Posted April 5, 2004 in a recent interview with Sam L. Jackson he revealed that when Mace dies he takes someone with him. who could it be? Dooku? Grievous? i thought that would be anakin & obi-wan... so then who does Mace kill? suggestions please

fourball Posted April 12, 2004 Posted April 12, 2004 I think he takes down Dooku. Dooku needs to die anyway and having Mace beat him down would be a nice way to eliminate Dooku from the movie.
Taos Posted April 12, 2004 Posted April 12, 2004 I also think it will be Dooku that Mace kills. They are "old jedi friends." Dooku will want revenge for Geonosis and will attack Windu and will lose. Now of course there is this other thought that it will be Anakin that kills Dooku to take his place at Palpatine's side. *shrugs* It will sure be fun as hell watching this all unfold in about a year.

El Sitherino Posted April 13, 2004 Posted April 13, 2004 I say he takes out greivous, I mean think about it, Greivous with four sabers, mace with one, He goes out taking down one of the most formidable opponents. Just think of the saber battle between them. Definitely not going out like a punk.
Darth Darthy Posted April 13, 2004 Posted April 13, 2004 Dooku is dead - killed by Anakin at that point and the only contact Grievous has with Sidious is via hologram. Which leaves only the Red Guards which do have a small "action" roll.

I also doubt that mace will be killed in Palpatines office, I, mean dont you think someone would here if there was a fight going on in there. Dookus the one he will kill, because Anakin already fought him and lost an arm.

Darth Darthy Posted April 14, 2004 Posted April 14, 2004 Mace takes two other jedi with him to Palpatines office - who they are and what happens to them isn't known but it's safe to assume they get the chop. Anakin kills Dooku on the Seperatist cruiser while Palpatine goads him ala Luke vs Vader in ROTJ. Supposedly Obi-Wan has been knocked out at this point by Grievous but Anakin was not meant to kill Dooku in the first place. He was to be captured alive because he had information the Republic would like to have gotten their hands on. Another loose end Palpatine tied up without even lifting a finger while further distancing Obi-Wan and Anakins relationship through what Obi-Wan saw as a failure on Anakins part.

The opening battle was spoiled by AICN which was "unofficial" and spot on. The rest of the information and "unofficial" yet magically not BS leaked pictures (burnt Anakin etc) were from Ewok_Pudu (AKA TFNs Darthy Friday) and as I've already stated in the EP3 Picture thread, is spot on. The fact that those pictures, the information and from what he told me about his source and himself makes it as accurate and legitimate as a spoiler can actually be. If you have a problem with spoilers go to the spoiler free thread and specualte all you like based on your fanboy dreams of Maul still being alive and Sidious being a clone.

Does that make you glad that youve spoiled so much of the movie for yourself? Now that all the fun is taken out of it, how will you enjoy the movie the first time? True true we are in the spoiler forum, but this is the only Ep3 forum that gets any activity. You see my point? But if your the type of person who doesnt mind being spoiled, then to each his own.
