Greed.

I don't know if this should go in the senate or not, but I would like to share this with the swamp.

Greed n. An excessive desire to acquire or possess more than what one needs or deserves, especially with respect to material wealth.

Look around you, look at hosting sites, look at e-mail companies and other places like these. What do they have in common? They all want you to buy their premium subscription. Look at the obecity issue, their making fat people pay more, they make people suffring from obecity pay from an extra ticket because they take up 2 seats on an airplane.

Ads, spam mail, telemarketing, commercials, billboards, scams, the list goes on. Adware, spyware, clogs up your computer with files that send info to companies. They want money, how do you get rid of them? Buy getting a program that you have to pay for. You know how twisted that is? You have to pay for a program that makes the things that want you to pay go away so you can use your computer, you have to pay for a pop-up blocker. That is paying for no reason.

Go to a gas staton, like texico, besides the high gas price, theres the air to air up your tires. Now lets think about this, 50¢ for air, from a gas company, one of the richest buisnesses, needs to charge 50¢ for air. You can put a price tag on anything.

You cannot have fun anymore, you cannot live anymore, it all comes with a price.

I got a free spyware eliminator and a free pop-up blocker. I'm happy with those. :)

You could get a portable air pump so you don't need to pay each time for air.

The sad thing is, people allow this to happen because they're lazy (the air pump thing).

People spamming you there software to stop these IP popups that happen are swindlers, they need money because they can't get a real job, so they swindle people. By running them into a corner and making them pay for things (unless you're a good comp nerd then you know how to do it yourself ;) )

Humans are naturally greedy, we dont' always act on our greed, envy, lust. But many people dont' have this control.

Look at bottled water, I could just go to a creek or what not use my handy water purifier that allows me to pump water from the creek through a tube to a purifying chamber and out into my glass. The satisfaction of having pumped it myself is nice, the build up of muscle doesn't hurt either ;)

People are lazy, and other people use that to make more money.

theres 2 types, theres people that actually have jobs that they need to live. then theres people that put a price tag on something that should otherwise be free, they do it because they don't care about anyone else but themselves, they do it because they can.

Greed is evil. To purge it from your system, send all your money to me! (just kidding)

The gas companies are very greedy. If there is a decrease in production, even if it won't affect the area, they jack up the prices. If there is an increase of production, they slightly decrease the price. That's gouging.

Greed is what drives our economy and the economy of all other countries.

Let's face it, we all want to be Bill Gates or a rock star or sports star...why? Money.

Why do you go to work? So you can make money to buy things. Are all the things you buy neccessities? Not really. We are all greedy, it is the extent of the greed that makes it right or wrong. The Enron execs were greedy enough to try to sell their stocks at the highest possible value, so they didn't tell any of the other investors before a big plunge. If they had done so, they might not have gotten as good a price, but they also wouldn't be sitting in prison now either.

Osama is waging a war on us because he calls us greedy. Nevermind the fact that his own family has millions of dollars that he could use to better his followers lives, but he doesn't. Why? Too greedy. Buy guns and bombs is cheaper than paying for parks and apartments.

Greed is a neccessity until we figure out a way to exist without money or wanting for posessions. Greed can be good, but it can also be very evil.

It's human nature to have greed. Not a single human being in this world hasn't felt greedy. Not even the saints, holy guuys, people, no one. Greed is always there. Some think it the good way, some the bad. Over-excessive greed is the real greed.

I'm greedy, and so are all of you guys. Each one of us needs something, something to live on, to live for and to die for something. When we don't get that, we find another way to get it, or wait to take it later.

Commercial companies and other industries need the money. That's what they say, but they don't They money goes to the rich bitch, the owner. He enjoys his daily massage and limousine whereas people below him suffer. They live on salary. He lives on money.

Both these people have greed and get either the salary or the money. It's just that the more we live on this planet and develop our brains, the more our inner greed grows. It goes to evilness and ultimately seeks violence, bloodshed. For what? For nothing. For death.

Anybody seen Greedo?
