And a lot of homeschooled kids lack the basic social skills that nearly every person who attended a public school takes for granted

Take, for example, the 12 year old that's in my calc 3 class this semester. He's a genius, but absolutely NO social skills, and may well go through his whole life without a single real friend. That's just sad to me.

It's brainiac. And I am currently laughing my ass off.

I'm with you on that one :p

I always kept track of my absences. If I missed day, I asked each of my teachers how many I missed, and I kept that number written down. And if they tried to screw me, I always said 'Last time you told me how many days I missed, it was only #.' Worked like a charm, especially given how much I skipped my senior year.

Geez!!! WTF you guys??

Don't let the man bring you down! You gotta pull through! Don't drop out. Just keep on chuggin' and the end will be in sight in no time.

High School has always been a pain for me, with the teachers being a bunch of hard-asses, but I've managed to survive. And it has had it's perks. I've been a part of plenty hijinks with my pals and have had a few romantic relationships. School is one big package, and in the end, it has a positive effect. Oh, and you get something called an education. It helps a bit on the outside, or so I hear.

Just hang tight guys. You'll make it.

That wouldn't surprise me in the least. Especially in Toledo(thats some bs Rayne. We'll blast Grant to hell).

That's bad. But you really need to get those ****in school authorities for that. BTW, in my school, rules are diffrent. First, you need to give an excuse for absence. Second, you can be absent as long as you like. Being absent for more than 50% of school, you will be considered a failure and it'll be no use going to school.

I got the pros on my committee. They've been doing it for about 20 years now.

*sigh*
