well, to be quite honest, i don't really enjoy listening to any of the songs on your list either :/

 

so i guess we just have different tastes in music. i don't think anybody likes any of the songs on my list. i've mentioned beyonce and kelis before on here and everybody was at my throat saying how i had an awful taste in music, but you know what? what the hell, i don't really care.

 

and as for joss stone....i think it's a good song. the first time i listened to it, i agreed with you and i thought "what the hell is this crap? why would anyone ever give her a recording contract?" but the song grew on me. plus, she's hot. what can i say?

 

oh yeah, i forgot to put "dirty" by christina aguilera on there...damn. so here's my list w/dirty on it...

hip hop is much more than that what "common" radiostations air. and perhabs it's sometimes somewhat difficult to differ between hip hop and rnbNstuff ..

 

mainly the stations just play the commercial crap, no matter which style of music.

well...to help differentiate btw. hiphop and r&b (b/c there is a difference), here's how it goes:

 

r&b, as many people know, stands for "rhythm and blues"- someone like...alicia keys would be an r&b artist.

 

hiphop, however, is different in the fact that...it doesn't necessarily have to do w/rhythm or blues- someone like...kanye west is a hiphop artist. kind of. the song "all falls down" is a hiphop song, b/c it's not really rap, but it's not r&b, and therefore it must fall into the hiphop category.

 

yeah. and from now on, my list will only be the top 10. i don't really like any of the songs in my bottom 10 enough to judge them fairly.
