God has always been around So ignorance of god = free ticket to heaven? So if I'm "ignorant" to god, and I pretty much don't acknowledge him, I go to heaven? No worship necessary, must be 18 or older to qualify? SWEET. Christianity has more loopholes than the American Government.

ET Warrior
Originally posted by yaebginn well ,the firs tman was adam and he knew God, so...and there is no perks to antheism. there are plenty, no going to church, no worshipping to something that isn't there, all kinds of perks an stuff. You say Adam and Eve knew God, but then apparently people forgot, because people worshipped alot of other Gods for a long time because they didn't know about your God. So I'm saying did ALL of them go to heaven? Did every American Indian go to Heaven before Europeans showed up?
Mike Windu
Did Buddha go to heaven? Surely he must have since he didn't know his philosophies would become a religion other than Christianity, and that as we all know is forbidden. BTW: I consider myself someone who wants to be a Christian, but has a bit of Buddhist philosophies.. just in case you're wondering why I'm bashing you. Christianity was made by a godless man. Makes it no better than any of the other religions, eh?

I'll have to be content only being King/Mod of the swamp then, no presidency for me. fiddlesticks. no, they already chose to believe something else, and make their own gods. But how would that work? The Indians never heard of God, they only knew of their gods, so how come they ended up in hell? You sir, are contradicting yourself.

But the other generations, after the original Indians made up Gods didn't have anything to do with it. They only knew what their parents had told them, there was no way they could have ever worshiped your God unless he came down and told them. Which he didn't, so why the hell is he punishing them? yaebginn
no its not. christianity was created then. christ, christian, connect the dots, jed.
El Sitherino
christianity didn't even come about until 100's of years after christ died. Sure it was based around his life, but it wasn't made by him. It was made by others who heard stories about him.
Guest Jed
Originally posted by yaebginn no its not. christianity was created then. christ, christian, connect the dots, jed. Religion is not fact. yaebginn
wrong, it was created by the life christ led. one thing, its not religoon that I said in that post, it was histroy of religion. and ooh, called a fool by jed, like that means anything
Guest Jed
Originally posted by yaebginn wrong, it was created by the life christ led. Yes, but if Christ even existed, who's to say he was the son of God? one thing, its not religoon that I said in that post, it was histroy of religion. An opinion versus the history of an opinion. and ooh, called a fool by jed, like that means anything If we're going to start flames, I suggest you spellcheck your posts, it helps the perceived level of your intelligence. yaebginn
my level of intelligence is decided by how well I debate. and a fool has nothing to do with intelligence, it has to do with wisdom. and I didnt flame you. you were saying if I beleive a certain thing I was a fool, and to me, it doesnt matter what you think, if you are going to be so arrogant. and yes, it is fact that christianity was created then. Jesus led his life that way and changed religion. Jesus was the son of God, but thats debatable by those who do not believe.

In all actuality, it has absolutely nothing to do with how you act on a forum and a fool has nothing to do with intelligence, it has to do with wisdom. and I didnt flame you. you were saying if I beleive a certain thing I was a fool, and to me, it doesnt matter what you think, if you are going to be so arrogant. If you're calling me arrogant for saying that thinking a religion is a fact, then go right ahead. But despite how strongly you believe in something, that doesn't necessarily make it a fact. and yes, it is fact that christianity was created then. Jesus led his life that way and changed religion. Jesus was the son of God, but thats debatable by those who do not believe. NOW you're starting to sound reasonable. No beefs with anything said there. Except I'd say that Jesus created a religion, but that's a trivial opinion.

However, I'm just saying it doesn't make EVERYTHING in the religion fact.
