Tyrion
...otherwise known as ArtRage Basically it's a free program that allows you to draw or paint on your computer. Now, you're probably wondering what's difference between that and Photoshop? It's that you can change the style of your strokes. You can paint with thick oil, or draw with pencil. Mark with crayon, or fill in with chalk. As well, you can use the four default paper canvas types(Fine Paper, Fine Canvas, Coarse Paper and Coarse Canvas) or upload your own. If you're a tablet PC owner, then you should definitely try this out since it was made with the Table PC in mind(but it works perfectly with the mouse). Did I mention it was also free? I'd show you some of the pictures I've made already, but I don't know where to host the pictures. If anyone knows a site where I can host my pictures for free, could you let me know? Tyrion
Originally posted by KBell Photoshop can change brushes aswell, and new ones can be downloaded. Well, it's also heckuva lot easier to use(I have both Photoshop Elements 2.0, and Artrage. I'll use Artrage for being streamlined and simple, and I'll use Photoshop Elements for advanced features.) Still, it's free.
KBell
I get why you want this free program. But for the record, Photoshop Elements sucks

Sabretooth
Ever heard of Macromedia XRes, Tyrion? It's a lot like the product you're introducing us. Infact, ArtRage is a Tablet PC version, methinks.
Master_Keralys
That's insanity.... I mean, the download's pretty big for a 56k modem, but even so... anything that rival Photoshop and is free (versus $600) is pretty sweet... I might just have to try this sucker out. KBell
I can assure you that this does not rival Photoshop. But it is a nice alternative for a free program.
