Admiral Odin
((Deac: Like having your characters board a ship twice? )) *Idun enters the bridge to find Heimdall sitting at the navigation station looking at a list of planets. Heimdall looks up as she enters* Heimdall: I saw you with Marin, everything alright? Idun: Something is bothering her, but she won't say anything. Heimdall: Ah. *Idun takes the copilot's seat, and begins to go through system diagnostic displays* Idun: Are we all set to go? Heimdall: Just waiting for Marin and Guy to board and we can leave. *Heimdall, looks at a couple more planets before stopping at one* Heimdall: Here we go, this planet will due nicely... ----------------------------------------------------------------------- *The engines begin to humm with power as the Asgardried readies itself for liftoff*
Redwing
*Marin stands surprised as Idun leaves* Hold on. An oath to protect Aidan and I? As opposed to the others? That's what she meant? *She felt disturbed. Idun's answer had put a strange, alternate spin on things that she wasn't sure she liked. For the time being, she boarded the ship, making a mental note to question Heimdall later. She didn't feel like thinking, trying to concentrate on blotting the terrible images she'd seen all day from her head. She heads towards the top deck, curious about the 'surprise' Idun had mentioned* ---------- *Guy boards the Asgardried, and heads for his own ship* Guy: Asgardried, if you could remind the Aesir that I need to retrieve the mercenary ship before we leave here. If they have no objections, I will remove my ship from your cargo bay and take control of it with my own. It will be necessary to leave our two ships separate once this is done. If this will cause a problem with traveling, I will request coordinates of a rendezvous location.

Admiral Odin
((Considering Ship about to take off, I would say it's a good bet to move conversation to at least the lounge. I'm assuming that everyone is now onboard.)) Asgardried to Guy: They remember, and are going to give you twenty minutes to secure the mercenary ship. After that we will be traveling to an itermediary world where some of the passengers will be dropped off, also the map can be study. Coordinates to this world are on a table next to your ship. ---------------------------------------------------------- *The ramp raises and the Asgardreid repulsors activate. The ship begins to gently rise off the ground, the three drakes also take flight. Valda checks in with Tanara to make sure she is situated and is fine* Valda to Tanara: How are you doing? Redwing
Guy: Thank you. *He heads for his ship* ------------ *Marin finds the rear observatory. She notices something strange about it. A section of the room was transformed, and in that area was what appeared to be a five-foot-high freestanding mass of water, or some other clear liquid.* Could they really have... *She hesitantly walks up to the boundary of the liquid mass and carefully touches it. With a tingle, her hand passes through the field and is submerged in water. Marin smiles* I'll definitely have to thank them. ---------- *Raschel heads to her cabin like the others, but can't help but pace around agitated. She knew she oughtn't bother Orthos - he needed rest after the trauma he'd gone through - but she can't help being worried. She heads to his door and knocks, resolving to let whether or not he answered make up her mind for her*

Writer
Tanara smiled weakly at Valda and shook her head. "I'm physically exhausted," she said. "As for mentally, I don't have a good answer..." Her smile faded with her words. Finally, she spoke again. "I want to contact my sister when possible," she announced. "I have a feeling about what's happening with her, but I'll feel better when I know for sure... or maybe worse, I don't know." With a sigh, she closed her eyes and shook her head, whispering again, "I don't know."
Admiral Odin
Valda: You may get the chance when we make our next planet fall. For now just try and get some sleep, we are going to be attaching your permanent arm tomorrow. Good night. *Valda leaves Tanara and heads to the bridge. Once there she takes the navigation seat, which was vacated when Heimdall took the pilots chair. A couple minutes later the Asgardried made orbit and headed for the mercenaries' ship. The cargo bay hold ready to open as soon as Guy reached his ship. The three drakes that aided the Aesir in the battle escorted the ship into orbit. On Midgard number of large fires could be seen, one being the funeral pyre, the others being the various bases of the Aesir. Bases that Loki would never be able to use.*
BattleDog
*Drago sits in one of the lounge chairs and puts his feet up on a stool.* Drago: Obviously there was never any question of you fighting in this battle but we need to address your lack of experiance in a melee.*
Redwing
*Raschel enters the room* Raschel: Sorry...er, to disturb you... How are you feeling? ---------- *Guy uses a droid to record the map and coordinates, considering he himself is unable to see them. Then, in his ship, he exits the Asgardried's cargo bay. Heading towards the drifting mercernary ship, the bottom of his ship transforms and unfolds a set of extensions. Guy's ship rotates into position above the merc ship and the extensions clamp onto it. After a few minutes Guy comms the Asgardried* Guy: I have secured the ship. Its countermeasures will have to be dealt with before the prisoners can be extracted. I will meet you as soon as possible at the coordinates you gave.
Deac
Orthos: I don't imagine I've been much worse. On the plus side...I did. I took down Lokpihet. That's worth one metal leg. I kinda like the sound it makes too. It's like Uncle Deac when his joints were unoiled. ----------------------------------- [Edit: This scene's one I've been wanting to do a long time, and after reading through the old episodes, I've realised it's needs doing. So here it is] Hell *Lokpihet awakes on an outcropping of rock above a lake of fire* Lokpihet: No...NO! Voice: It gets worse. *Lokpihet looks down and finds that he's trapped in the body of his mortal namesake* You've done it this time, Lokpihet. Interferring in affairs like this is BAD BUSINESS. Maybe a stay in the lowest plane as a mortal will make you understand. *The first voice reveals his identity* Syrnl: So, "God of Hatred", ready for the anger of all the people you hurt? I've had it already. Yours will be infinatley worse. But I got off easy, there was good in me. Not you though. *Lokpihet's face becomes a mask of pure fear* Syrnl: Welcome to Hell.... Come along Syrnl. You're done here *Syrnl fades away*

Admiral Odin
((As things are really winding down. I'm ending the thread tomorrow. The next thread unless you really don't want it should see all the characters recovered mostly. (Ex: Tanara will have her new arm, Vidar may be healed etc) )) Heimdall over the com: That is fine, we will see you soon. Bye. *The Asgardried turns and begins to head through the ship graveyard. Coordinates were already laid in and once clear of the graveyard the slipstream drive would be engaged*
Redwing
*Guy's ship flashes out of sight* ---------- *Raschel smiles a little wryly* Raschel: Hey, as long as you won and lived to tell about it. I guess that's all that matters.

Admiral Odin
((I think we have reached a good stopping point, There is not going to be a great time skip for the next thread. Only a couple of days, this will get everyone's characters back to normal (sort of anyways) )) *The Asgardried clears the graveyard, shutters are raised on all middle deck windows. Once they have been fully raised the ship engages its slipstream drive, in a flash it is gone. Heimdall: We will arrive at Kartin in two days. We have some work to do before then, but first I want all of us to get a couple hours of rest. *Heimdall stands, leaves the bridge and heads to his cabin. Idun and Valda followed suite. In the morning they would begin their their work...* TO BE CONTINUED... *Red wants the honor of starting the next thread, and it should be maybe later today, or in a couple of days*
