ZinC°hda Posted September 1, 2004 Posted September 1, 2004 It seems that LucasArts have finally provided forums to support the games their about to release. Seems a shame really considering they've waited all this time to provide somewhere to chat about BattleFront. Oh well better late than never ? http://forums.lucasarts.com/forum.jspa?forumID=28 Omg could they make the forums anymore basic ? Its like having salad without dressing.
TK-8252 Posted September 1, 2004 Posted September 1, 2004 Those are some mighty fugly forums. LucasForums > all! And I'm not just saying that because they make me!
Mountainforest Posted September 1, 2004 Posted September 1, 2004 I get an error page. Are you sure that's a valid link? BTW, lucasarts already got a support forum for a long time.
Alegis Posted September 1, 2004 Posted September 1, 2004 I can't load it atm, but i guess it could be used to lay questions to a handful of devs at a time..if anything special gets mentioned be sure to report here
SITH_ShadowCat Posted September 1, 2004 Posted September 1, 2004 Forum is looking a little scarse, I'll stick to these forums because if anything happens there, it'll probably happen here.
ExplodingMonkey Posted September 1, 2004 Posted September 1, 2004 Yeah, there's nothing much to it and pretty desolate for now.
SITH_ShadowCat Posted September 1, 2004 Posted September 1, 2004 The community page is now open on the official site. It has a link to the forum thats been posted (which supricingly sprung to life very quickly), and has a thing that says "LEADERBOARDS" and has a count down. So does that mean the devs will have there own little board to chat to us?
JediJohn Posted September 2, 2004 Posted September 2, 2004 when the game comes out the countdown will go and i think by leaderboards i think they mean the clan which is doing the best online

I hope to see you all on there. I mean, we will be the first to own it, no doubt we will be ontop of the pack.
Alegis Posted September 2, 2004 Posted September 2, 2004 most games got a forumwith basic functions. However in this case, its unreadable. toomuch stuff there alltogether. And on the jedi outcast/academy sites, community linked to a bunch of fan sites. I guess this is not the case here...
tFighterPilot Posted September 3, 2004 Posted September 3, 2004 I've been registered since the 3/03 and I just made my first post ^_^
ZinC°hda Posted September 3, 2004 Author Posted September 3, 2004 Would you like some purple with that ? Lmao
tFighterPilot Posted September 3, 2004 Posted September 3, 2004 God damnit, there are people there that have been registered since 1999! 3/03 doesn't seem so cool now
singard Posted September 3, 2004 Posted September 3, 2004 Yeah, there forums are a bit sad to say the least. Considering there are excellent forum packages available for free on the web, you'd think they'd have installed PHPBB2 or something.

Games companies often prefer to make their own forums, so they'll fit better to their needs.
Mountainforest Posted September 3, 2004 Posted September 3, 2004 Are devs gonna post on those forums?

Neon Posted September 3, 2004 Posted September 3, 2004 It keeps saying a field has been left open, when I try to register
