One more really important question...

How many licks does it take to get to the tootsie roll center of a tootsie pop?

No seriously, how many bots can you have at one time in the game? Are you able to set the number all the way up to 64 or does the game automatically determine a cap for how many you can have in a given level? I would like to play 32 v 32 on SP. Is this possible? Also up to how many tickets can you have? Can you go as high as 500 as in bf vietnam? I want the levels to last at least 15-25 minutes.

Thanks.

hey

1. I know you said the flying was "arcady" but did u think it was fun?? What were your overall opinions on flying was it fun, easy to kill ground units, air units, etc. and how many ships are in the air at once just 1v1 or are there multiple flying ships for each team?

2. I would also like to know if there are any vehicles in the game that aren't on the website like the MAF or something, which was previously asked by joesdomain

thanks, i can't wait!

I can answer the question on first person. You can see which gun you're carrying, basically it looks like bf vietnam's setup. It looks very nice as well. Also you can play first person in vehicles which is also a nice touch. Pandemic really dotted their I's and crossed their T's here. Apparently you can switch views in the options menu. But for me it' first person view exclusively as i can't play these types of games in third person. I think first person is more immersive but everyone has a style of play and the more play options, the better.

I've just got a couple of questions for you

1. Which of the game modes are the jedi characters avaliable in besides Galactic Conquest? and which one has the best character model?

2. What are your impressions of the Kashyyyk maps, Particularly the Village map? How active are the wookiee npcs?

3. Can your fire while riding Kaadu or the Tauntaun?

What about the AT-TE, is it still being transport on the map by one of those modified republic gunships? And what about the other big vehicles like the AT-AT and the AT-TE?

And orbital bombardements, how do they work? How deadly are they?

And last: if the sniper disguises itself as a imperials, what happens? Is it still visible on radar? Do yuo only recognize it after it shot at last one teammember?

Thanks a lot :D

Hi guys, just signed up! :D

We here in the UK get this on the 24th, but get the Live Demo on Monday with the DVDs, so hopefully see you then.

I played the final release a fortnight ago at a gaming event held in London called Gamestars and I can say it is an amazing game.

I only had a chance for a few goes on it but I instantly fell in love with it, I did Tatooine with Vader at my side and he owned all the rebels, almost got to pilot a Skiff but it was next door to the rebel spawn so I died trying.

Hoth was the other map and I can say it was a dream come true driving a AT-AT towards the Shield Generator and seeing that baby blow!

Had to bail out though after as my co-pilot couldn't shoot for toffee and the snowspeeder took out our legs!

The Dark Troopers seemed to be everyone's favourites there, and I admit it was probably mine too, they are awesome, the jet packs are great.

Can't wait for MP on Live, as I'm a clan leader of about 20 others in The Bearded Alliance and we are all Star Wars nuts, so this is the game that we have been waiting for, so keep yours eyes peeled for us! :)

At last, Lucasarts have restored my faith in them.

Well done.

I don't mind answering questions, but I am not willing to compare the vehicles in the game with what is listed. Suffice it to say that there are a buttload of cool vehicles to comandeer.

In multiplayer, you can add up to 16 bots per side in addition to human players. I am not sure about single player, but there are always tons of friendlies and enemies. Not sure about the tickets, but each match lasts a minimum of 20 minutes.

The flying is arcadey, but also fun. It is easy to strafe enemies on the ground with laserfire and compete in 'dog fights' with other flying vehicles. There are usually at least 2 ships per team, some maps have 4 per team.

Also, even though no one asked this question, it seems like everyone who has played the game says that snipers need at least 2 shots to take someone down. FALSE! I have taken several enemies down (with full health) with one well placed head shot from the sniper rifle.

First person view is like traditional FPSs with your gun swaying when you move. Reload animations are sufficient.

I do have 5.1 audio and SW:Battlefront's audio ROCKS!

You can assign a button to switch from 1st person to 3rd person. I use first for infantry and third for vehicles.

Jedi characters are available in all modes. Vader looks the best.

Kashyyyk looks pretty cool, with lots of foliage and small villages to fight amongst. The other Kashyyyk map is better though.

Wookie npcs are just a class that is available, so they fight as well as the other soldiers.

You cannot fire while riding those vehicles.

The AT-TE does not come in on a republic gunship.

Orbital bombardments are initiated by using the sniper's drone and pressing secondary fire. They are pretty damaging.

I am not sure what you are talking about with disguising snipers.

Geonosis is just sick! The battle is just as exciting as the end of Episode 2 (without princess Amadala's cheesy acting).

You cannot fire while in the transport section of the Gunship.

Flying vehicles blow up in mid-air when blasted enough. However, they can crash into objects, the ground, or other vehicles.

The overall flow of the game is frantic, mostly fast-paced battles with enemies everywhere. You must team up if you want to have a chance. Even in single player, if you don't request a few soldiers to follow you around then you are as good as dead.

You can map the ability to switch from 1st to 3rd person view to the button of your choice. You cannot choose to make it 1st person for infantry and 3rd for vehicles. Just press the button you lazy bastard! Hehe, just joking.

Most vehicles have secondary positions that have firing abilities tied in to the vehicle. You cannot shoot your infantry weapon out of any vehicle.

For the last time, you can map the ability to switch from 1st to 3rd person to whatever button you want.

So far your review seems more like a bad case of spam !

Unbiased star wars answers would be appreciated;)

He's not posting a review, just some info. And he's allowed to be a little excited about havin this game already. I know I would be.
