italegion Posted September 16, 2004 Author Posted September 16, 2004 well the fat man with a battle droid blaster in episode V flash is not the best part..
Neon Posted September 16, 2004 Posted September 16, 2004 Ehm, I can't load it. Is there something wrong with the link maybe?
italegion Posted September 16, 2004 Author Posted September 16, 2004 i tought it was my provider, but now i think there is some bad connection with their site; i used a US proxy then proxy.marketscore.com port 80.
Mex Posted September 16, 2004 Posted September 16, 2004 Use the Luke! Ooh, a Tv ad. I'll check it out.
DarthMuffin Posted September 16, 2004 Posted September 16, 2004 Dunno about you guys, but the first part (with people added to movie scenes) was quite bad, in my opinion. The rest was fine, but it's far from being the best BF trailer I've seen.
Master William Posted September 16, 2004 Posted September 16, 2004 Haha yes that was funny with the nerds in the movie, man they looked funny...
DemonKing Posted September 16, 2004 Posted September 16, 2004 Not a very flattering portrayal of SW geeks! I guess they know their market though! That grinning geek in the trenches was a classic - I think Lucasforums needs him as a new avatar.

He's the 2nd worst, just after the fat guy running behind a rebel But seriously, how can they hope to sell more copies with such tv spots?? If I saw this without seeing online screenies and videos, I wouldn't buy the game.

I must agree, that part was funny.
DieStarWarsGeek Posted September 16, 2004 Posted September 16, 2004 Oh, man.... I love these kinds of things. Always reassures me I picked the right screen name.
JawaJoey Posted September 16, 2004 Posted September 16, 2004 I don't know if this is already known, but I just saw a commercial for Battlefront. It was pretty much just the trailer except edited a bit and with a narration at the biggening.
Vader523 Posted September 16, 2004 Posted September 16, 2004 Yep, I have seen it 3 times already (Starting today), and I also saw like 8 commericals for the trilogy on DVD lol. And there is a 7ft cardboard Darth Vader at Wal-Mart that says "Original Trilogy on DVD" then under it "Star Wars: Battlefront"... It all just heightens my excitment. Cant wait!
Vader523 Posted September 16, 2004 Posted September 16, 2004 Originally posted by TK-8252 Already posted here. This is a different one. Its like the official trailer #2. Theres no people inserted into it its just basically game clips with the narrations like "Drive it", "Fly it", "Launch it" and stuff like that.

JawaJoey Posted September 16, 2004 Posted September 16, 2004 Already posted? Oh well. BTW, it's on the official site now too, Check it out
lukeiamyourdad Posted September 17, 2004 Posted September 17, 2004 Such a bad portrayal of Star Wars geeks...we're not all like that !!! Perhaps I should put that avatar and keep my title...
DemonKing Posted September 17, 2004 Posted September 17, 2004 it may not be in LucasForums avatar stock, but i went ahead and took the time to make one for ya. I must agree, that part was funny. Coolnesssss DUDE! Although it would probably look a bit better with the gun visible...the context isn't obvious at the moment!
MoonSlasher Posted September 17, 2004 Posted September 17, 2004 yeah, it would be better off if he had the gun, but the limit to the avatars is only 70x70. but its all good, at least you like it anyways.
