Alegis Posted October 3, 2004 Posted October 3, 2004 They said they took it out cause it probably sucked and for PC there is Teamspeak/ventrilo. They will be looking into proper voice commands however (follow me, need reinforcements etc)
Spitface Posted October 3, 2004 Author Posted October 3, 2004 i know about ventrilo and stuff but i just like to chat with everyon while playing multiplayer and on ventrilo you have to have their contacts so in other words you only chat with your friends.
Rax Nibune Posted October 3, 2004 Posted October 3, 2004 ugh another ridiculous thing about the game, you know, BF had such high hopes, and they seem to be crashin 1 afer another, i love the gameplay, but there are so many missing aspects or screw ups, that it gets soo irritating. For any jk2/ja players, i don't know why BF devs didnt use the same interface, but if it aint broke dont fix it. The voicechat in game was one of the features they told players about the game. As sad as it is, this game was badly rushed to go hand in hand with the DVD set.
recombinant Posted October 4, 2004 Posted October 4, 2004 Yes.. I am rather disappointed about this feature not being in the game, since I've gotten so used to it in UT2004. I assumed it would be in SWBF, since it seems like "standard equipment" these days. Hopefully they will release a patch which enables voice chat.
