Darkkender
So here it is guys my first actual recruit mod is up for download in it's Alpha state at pcgamemods.com. So after many last minute trials and tribulations with dialogues and conditionals last night. I decided the heck with it I'll release it as a alpha and strive for some help with the scripts for the full release version later. I would like to extend thanks to Raveth500 for his Excelent purple robes he made for me and to Cloud91690 for the purple core blue glow lightsaber color which he made for me. Both of these mods were released by there respective artists a few days ago for everybody to share in. These were made for me to use with my Recruit Darkkender mod so it is only fair that they get credit for there seperate contributions. I would also like to thank Darth333. Without her help in the past understanding recruit based scripts and without the inspiration from her spawning armband. I would still be trying to figure everything out. This mod does not make use of the spawning armband in anyway however it shares a very similiar concept. Okay to the meat of the mod. After you leave the apartments on Taris for the first time and the Duros speaks to you go check out the storage closet down the hall with the R2 head. There you will meat Darkkender he will give you his datapad that you can activate from your belt. Some known bugs include when you remove Darkkender from your party you can add partymembers that you have not recruited yet. Also when you leave Darkkender at the Hideout and then return he duplicates. There are some other bugs I can't recall but those are big ones for me. If anybody has some script advise I'm open. Darkkender
Hey by the way does anybody know what causes custom lightsaber colors and blades to do this. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v478/darkkender/wotfsupwthis3.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v478/darkkender/wotfsupwthis2.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v478/darkkender/wotfsupwthis.jpg I don't know if it is my settings or if it is something within the image files themselves. but every custom saber colored blade does this on my machine. If it's my settings what do I need to turn on or off.
Cloud91690
Woah neet. But it looks like a grafix card problem, might wanna check your settings and maybe your grafix card.
Darkkender
I'm sure it's a settings issue I'm just not sure what to set them too. I know it can't be my card other than maybe some settings on it that are set to low or to high I'm not sure.
Cloud91690
Hmmmm, Try defaulting ALL of your settings then bringing them up slowly to see what the problem is.

They should be named the same (other than the extension). Open notepad and type: blending additive decal 1 making sure there is no space after "decal 1". Name the file xxx-color.txi and pop it in your override... ie- purplesaber03.tga = purplesaber03.txi
Cloud91690
My fault, i knew their was a reason, other than that. (Remembers .txi file sitting in folder....) No wonder.... I'll go update that right away.

Darkender this is not like re-using a simple script, it's a whole concept. This the type of thing for which you should ask for permission but I'll pass over this time. Nevertheless, considered you warned and ask for permission next time you use someone else's work in whole or in part, you can expect some disciplinary action. (you have already been warned in the past for similar problems.) Some known bugs include when you remove Darkkender from your party you can add partymembers that you have not recruited yet. It's caused by the tag in your .utc file. That will also cause numerous problems later in the game. This problem is addressed in my tutorial: http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=131944
