A tiny panzerfaust filled with racism

what they believe might be one thing, what they do towards others another.

i remember sitting in a tram on december 25 in 1999 with a gun in front of my face.

well, i don't really care if it were nazis or little schoolgirls, but they were nazis as a matter of fact, and i've experience such things not only once. the behaviour in which their "beliefs" result is cleary not tolerable. not one single bit.

violence in general is not tolerable.

Wow. I never thought I'd see the day where I'd agree with Acrylic. While I don't agree with the philosophy of any racist orginization, it's their belief. Nothing we say here, or there in their forum will change their minds. Making a thread about this sort of thing, and whining about it is just that. Fruitless. And whining.

That said, can you make wine without fruit?

But is Sake/Rice-wine technically a wine? Let's review the evidence...

Sake is brewed in a manner consistent with beers, in that it is made from grain, and has yeasts added to convert starches to sugars.

But it is brewed in a manner consistent with modern white-wine production in other respects, and the alcohol content is typically comparable with wines at 16% rather than beers which hover around 4%.

So is Sake a wine? Well the dictionary definition reads:

A beverage made of the fermented juice of any of various kinds of grapes, usually containing from 10 to 15 percent alcohol by volume.

A beverage made of the fermented juice of any of various other fruits or plants.

So you could call Sake a wine, yes.

Is it a beer?

A fermented alcoholic beverage brewed from malt and flavored with hops.

A fermented beverage brewed by traditional methods that is then dealcoholized so that the finished product contains no more than 0.5 percent alcohol.

A carbonated beverage produced by a method in which the fermentation process is either circumvented or altered, resulting in a finished product having an alcohol content of no more than 0.01 percent.

A beverage made from extracts of roots and plants: birch beer.

This definition is more concrete but still leaves room for Sake.

So upon reflection I would say that while Sake has more in common with a wine than it has in common with a beer, it is really NEITHER.

I agree. I'm not a racist in any whay, but what they believe in a belief system. They have the freedom and right to speak their minds like this. Of course what they think will offend people, but let's not forget there are many different belief systems (ways of living, religions, etc) that offend other people also.

There are legions of stupid people and kooks all over the internet. Just like there are stupid and nutty people in the world, there are plenty of them around here too.

Remember the internet is typically the playground of the privileged (relatively), those who live in first world nations or who are part of the upper classes elsewhere, as it requires a computer and online access.

Of course in some countries internet cafes are starting to make this more equal but it still costs money.

So in a sense, one could say that those who have the leisure time & money to waste, can tell their "sad stories" a bit easier. ; )

Maybe, or maybe I'm just rambling on incoherently. Maybe to someone else out there I'm the crazy one. Who knows!

But all this "attack their site they deserve it stuff" whether you agree or not, I think is wrong-headed. If you believe in free speech, then you allow people like this, dumb as they are, to have their stupid opinions. As long as they aren't hurting anyone of course.

Hacking people's websites isn't exactly a legal thing to do, and it doesn't determine who's right.

Let's not turn this into a Something Awful type of site where we post a website link and then go "hey, wouldn't it be great if somebody attacked them and took their site down.... wink, wink, nudge, nudge, say no more, say no more!"

I suggest combating this kind of stupidity with knowledge & education. We can cry all day about problems like these, but anger alone won't solve them.

So yes, denounce them, debate them if you feel like it, but death threats and/or hacking and other manuvers will not get supported here (deserving as the target may be).

My 2 cents...
