edlib
Lord Vader inhaled various "toxic gases" or some such thing. Plus he broughtly got pretty badly burned in the lungs considering he actually burst into flames and oxygen filled lungs love to burn. Yeah, that would be my guess... although showing him wheezing and gasping for air at some point before the suit closes up might have been a simple, but effective way of truly making that clear. As it stands now, other than the limbs and skin, he just doesn't seem all that badly off. He's moving around on the table a bit, able to scream real well... I just think they could have made him seem a bit closer to death than they did... to really drive the point home. But, whatever... it's kind of a small point, really. And I think he should have said something to Gunray about: "That'll teach you for putting a hit out on my girlfriend, frog-face! Let that be a lesson to you,.. you bug-eyed schmuck... NEVER **** with a Jedi's piece of ass!!!"
Zoom Rabbit
Nute...lungs are full of air, not oxygen. If that were the case, I wouldn't be alive today thanks to a greasy dropout joint-roller who packed one too loose...
Nitro
I saw the word "obfuscation" used in print last week... 'Twas in "Jarhead" (the book, not the movie, though both are excellent).

Nitro
I'll buy that... That way I can blame him for the incident on MSN where I told my buddy's jewish girlfriend that the name of the song in the Jarhead trailer was "Jewsus Walks".
Rogue15
worked at pizza hut and walmart today...nothing much, got a bunch of my paperwork to get my tech status rank done, i only need to learn a couple more things. hopefully i can get a raise soon. the urge to just quit it all and go to home depot for $8.00+ an hour is so tempting....but i like the people i work with. =\ might quit pizza hut sometime, not cause i hate it or anybody i work with, but becuase it is BORING, prolly cause i did that **** for 1.5 years before joining the army, and going back to the same **** just....meh, it's money but i can be making loads more elsewhere. -_- i kinda wanna find a place that'll hire me for computer upgrades/repair that would be willing to teach me.. Zoom Rabbit
The only thing I expect out of you is toothpaste, but I can't get my hands around your throat... Never mind. I got up today and dodged an ARC-170 before making coffee. Later, I perambulated about the valley in my automobile and had a smashing good time. I saw Elvis. Eventually, my home surrounded me and I suppressed an urge to eat Las Vegas in favor of escaping into deep space with other refugees. When at last I saw firsthand the water rushing headlong from deep underground to clothe my otherwise naked and glorious body, I was ready for cheeseburgers--made back in medieval times, apparently. Now I am stuffing my head into a little box that is curiously much larger on the inside than the outside while waiting for an oblong device to announce that it is time for a nice female to produce noise patterns in my ear by electromagnetic means. That has been my day so far...
edlib
Hmmm... I believe I might just be able to translate most of that... but doing so would probably violate the Constitution* in some way, so I'd better just let it be. Late night at work last night, followed by early morning at work today (of course.) Less than 5-hours sleep, and all the wonderful mood-enhancing properties that implies. Stupid run-in with boss (not my immediate boss, who is cool, but the guy who is kinda his higher boss) over our way of doing things that I really didn't need in my sleep-deprived and extremely grumpy state. Fortunately everybody else I work with had my back. Bought cat food and gas on the way home. Got home and went right back to bed, not even pretending to try to do anything constructive with my night. Just got back up a little while ago. I'm about to have dinner and then go back to sleep. * (Actually, not the American Constitution, but surprisingly, the fledgling Iraqi one. While it might actually be safe to pull off here, I always figure better safe than sorry. Y'know what I mean, jellybean?)
Rogue15
today i woke up at 6:40ish am, only got about 5 hours of sleep, watched some tv, then went out hunting for 2 hours. didn't kill or see anything so after 2 hours of that, i drove home and played chaos theory for a while, after 2 hours of that, i went to my parents' and helped my mom get some stuff out of storage and then went to walmart and got some food, on the way back we picked up my sister and then i set up their computer, and then spent like 90 minutes trying to figure out how to set up the dvd player, finally got it set up then we watched Revenge of the Sith. my 4th time watching it the whole way through. it's definetely my favorite out of them all. I think i have work tomorrow, so i'm gonna go to bed early....hopefully the schedule for pizza hut next week isn't too bad. tomorrow i have to deposit my check from there...almost forgot. Rogue15
I hate working. i swear im gonna quit the morning one soon and do seomthing more worth my time. prep-cooking at pizza hut sucks, and i'm starting to get tired of walmart one-hour photo. i want back in the army, but.....sharing an apartment w/my sister...and she has crappy insurance payments, so if i just quit both jobs to join the army, she'd be forced to move in w/my parents, and that would make me an evil brother, so....kinda screwed. so either i have to keep putting up w/bull**** from both jobs, or i win the job-finding lottery and get hired at a place where i can be taught how to repair computers and **** like that, which is what i wanted to do before i discovered the army. i'm just so sick of working at places i could care less about. hopefully i can figure some excuse out of work tomorrow, i hope i wake up and pass out getting out of bed so i can get out of working at pizza hut. I could technically call off, cause i AM sick. just need a ****ing doctors excuse...cause last time i went to call off, they had me call 3 people who didn't want to work cause, well duh, it's a weekend. i want out of both jobs without any hard feelings put towards me, or them. the weird thing is, it's not really the people i work with, it's the JOB. -_- well, the people too i guess cause i have nothing in common with anybody. esp the people that have lived here their entire life. Cmdr. Cracken
You bastard Zoomie. Anyway, an actual substantive post. I'm sitting in Holmes Hall at Brockport, waiting for my girlfriend to get out of class. That's right, girlfriend. Shocker. Which is great, because she's a part time geek. It's like life finally decided to give me a break. Manager stuff at work goes.... well, it goes, as does schoool, which needless to say, is poorly. I'd rather take large metal spikes and jab them into my eyes than spend more time at the college. And i;d bet that would be far more productive too. The jabbing of the spikes into the eyes. Thanksgiving coming up. much time for City of Villains, and other such. I can't wait for the semester to be over, so i can actually relax and crap, and not have homework and papers hanging over my head. I hate that part about school, is the homework. WHy can't i just take tests, i'm much better at them test thingies. Oh, and i looked up sleep.... yeah, seems odd. why would i willingly want to put myself in a vunerable state of unconciousness? Silly, i say. Just silly.

Rogue15
i quit pizza hut. i didn't really say anything to the managers, went in got my paycheck, went about my job like normal, then at the end of my shift i just crossed out my schedule and wrote 'quit' then set my hat and utility knife aside and slipped quietly out the door. after clocking out. now time to look for another morning job, one that pays $2+ more. my parents are disappointed that i didn't even give a 2 weeks notice, but i said 'well u think they'd tell me 2 weeks in advance of firing me?' that and i just don't wanna leave on bad terms, such as myself not giving a **** or management being an ass cause i am leaving, so a quiet unheard exit is best, imo. and i did it before the next schedule gets put up. hopefully the managers won't be disappointed or pissed seeing me gone. the thing is, i didn't really have anything against anybody, just the job was so boring and being told to get this done and that done (ie: stuff i was going to do next, being bitched at or not) was starting to get old. take that and add to the fact that i have to go up to walmart right after and get harrassed by customers and old people......just burned me out. anyway. the end of the day i ended up closing by myself cause my closing partner would rather be viewing her dead grandfather. i'm so sick of being buddy****ed, even for a good reason. so this week imma look for another job, prolly gotta drive an hour away to get there, but whatever. as long as it pays.
