Cmdr. Cracken
Mmm... random facts about Vin Diesel.... Vin Diesel was so mad after losing a game of Chinese checkers to Leonardo da Vinci that he punched February in the face as hard as he could. Now February only has 28 days. Da Vinci was put into the witness protection program becuase he didn't want to be hunted down by Vin and changed his name to Jennifer Love Hewitt. In other news, I've decided to dual major, political science is almost done, and I'm gonna start Buisness Administration. Wheee.
Rogue15
mmm... i'm trying to find a good strength training plan....mostly to increase my upper body and arms/biceps.. i'm currently using this plan: http://www.hooah4health.com/body/fitness/toning/default.htm#basics i do about the whole thing within like 10-15 minutes, using 10 lb dumbbells instead of the recommended 3-4 lb, and have 20 pounds on the bar. i'm wondering if i should do like 3 sets of each, like for 2 sets, should i do 1 set of each until the exercises are completed, then go back to the first exercise and start over, or should i just increase the reps....or just add more weight? basically, which would do the best job of increasing strength the fastest without killing my joints. the tools i have to use are 10lb dumbbells, a barbell which can be increased from 20-90 lbs (i have a weight bench for it too), and that's pretty much it. another question: with the tools i have, how can i make my shoulders bigger? useful help as well as sarcasm is appreciated. Nute Gunray
Penn State managed a great football season (and got within a second of going undefeated). As a result, I'm either going to the Fiesta Bowl in Tempe AZ or the Orange Bowl in Miami. Until late this afternoon, there was still a chance for the Rose Bowl. Zoom Rabbit
Perhaps this year at work will be the one where I drunkenly grope the waitresses and give them plastic beads at midnight...or it could just be cheeseburgers and omelettes as usual. Meh. When I got to work today I found out that the cook who'd not done his freezer pull the night before--thereby screwing me by making me do it on top of my usual sidework--had gotten suspended. Everyone is happy about that because he's a dick. Literally--that's his name. Anyway, because of this Dave (who was my best friend for years and years, but whom I'd lost track of because he went into bad drugs) is no longer working just my two nights off, but is getting his hours back...which is good, because he's no longer on the bad drugs and could use some help getting on his feet. Now that we need him, they've all forgiven him for making the barbecued pork sandwich mix out of pork riblets. Dave is just fine, now. Dick is out and Dave is in. Whatever. I just want the f*cking freezer pull done.

Nute Gunray
I'm going to now be spending New Years watching my two favorite college football teams battle it out in balmy Miami. Well, the game's the 3rd. And I'm not flying down until the 2nd. So, uh, I'm not actually spending New Years in Miami.

Cmdr. Cracken
I start running my own shifts sunday. Sunday at my McDonalds is known as special olympics day. Reason being it's so slow, every employee becomes really retarded and stupid, except the closing staff, and they won't leave, (the retards, leaving me with just the closers) until like 8PM. I hope to god i can sent them all home. That and my friends intend to make my life hell. >.< Why can;t it ever be easy!? Well, maybe the store will burn down. Or the county shuts us down. Or something where i don't have to deal with the teenagers. >.< My girlfriend noticed something wierd. WHenever i'm not at work, i'm a normal human being. when i'm at work, i'm a bundle of rage and hate and fury. Probably goes with any job really. That, and they keep suggesting that i go out with my girlfriend, which I would be like "That's a great idea!". except we're already dating, and we can't tell anyone because i'm not supposed to be datting employee's. ya know, becuase i'm management. STupid rules. >.<

Cmdr. Cracken
December 8th, 1941, Joint Session of the Congress, Franklin Deleno Roosevelt Mr. Vice President, Mr. Speaker, Members of the Senate, and of the House of Representatives: Yesterday, December 7th, 1941 -- a date which will live in infamy -- the United States of America was suddenly and deliberately attacked by naval and air forces of the Empire of Japan. The United States was at peace with that nation and, at the solicitation of Japan, was still in conversation with its government and its emperor looking toward the maintenance of peace in the Pacific. Indeed, one hour after Japanese air squadrons had commenced bombing in the American island of Oahu, the Japanese ambassador to the United States and his colleague delivered to our Secretary of State a formal reply to a recent American message. And while this reply stated that it seemed useless to continue the existing diplomatic negotiations, it contained no threat or hint of war or of armed attack. It will be recorded that the distance of Hawaii from Japan makes it obvious that the attack was deliberately planned many days or even weeks ago. During the intervening time, the Japanese government has deliberately sought to deceive the United States by false statements and expressions of hope for continued peace. The attack yesterday on the Hawaiian islands has caused severe damage to American naval and military forces. I regret to tell you that very many American lives have been lost. In addition, American ships have been reported torpedoed on the high seas between San Francisco and Honolulu. Yesterday, the Japanese government also launched an attack against Malaya. Last night, Japanese forces attacked Hong Kong. Last night, Japanese forces attacked Guam. Last night, Japanese forces attacked the Philippine Islands. Last night, the Japanese attacked Wake Island. And this morning, the Japanese attacked Midway Island. Japan has, therefore, undertaken a surprise offensive extending throughout the Pacific area. The facts of yesterday and today speak for themselves. The people of the United States have already formed their opinions and well understand the implications to the very life and safety of our nation. As commander in chief of the Army and Navy, I have directed that all measures be taken for our defense. But always will our whole nation remember the character of the onslaught against us. No matter how long it may take us to overcome this premeditated invasion, the American people in their righteous might will win through to absolute victory. I believe that I interpret the will of the Congress and of the people when I assert that we will not only defend ourselves to the uttermost, but will make it very certain that this form of treachery shall never again endanger us. Hostilities exist. There is no blinking at the fact that our people, our territory, and our interests are in grave danger. With confidence in our armed forces, with the unbounding determination of our people, we will gain the inevitable triumph -- so help us God. I ask that the Congress declare that since the unprovoked and dastardly attack by Japan on Sunday, December 7th, 1941, a state of war has existed between the United States and the Japanese empire. edlib
It's snowing here. Heavy. Everything's cancelled. *Sigh* Here we go again... I was going to go get my inspection sticker today, especially since it kind of expired at the end of last month... but if the weather doesn't clear up, I think I'll take my chances with next week being early enough. I mean, it's been about 9 or 10 months since we've had any real amount of snow on the ground... and that's just enough time for everybody around here to totally forget how to drive in it.
