Wraith 8 Posted January 3, 2005 Posted January 3, 2005 ? wherewas it then reddy? uhm i prefer mouse/keyboard only anoying thing with mouse is the edges of the mouse mat
Jan Gaarni Posted January 3, 2005 Posted January 3, 2005 I prefer joystick & keyboard, the propper way to fly anything
celibi87 Posted January 3, 2005 Author Posted January 3, 2005 yeah i use a joystick that was made for jtl and i still use the keyboard for regular fighting on the good old ground
Jan Gaarni Posted January 3, 2005 Posted January 3, 2005 On the ground I use the mouse/keyboard setup. I do use mouse in space aswell, as it's pretty much required to navigate the menues etc..... But for piloting the ship I use the joystick.
Soromonu Posted January 6, 2005 Posted January 6, 2005 ...nope..not a fan of the joystick..prefer keyboard and mousie
celibi87 Posted January 6, 2005 Author Posted January 6, 2005 wow we have a plain out mouse and keubaord user didnt think that happened anymore lol
Wraith 8 Posted January 8, 2005 Posted January 8, 2005 ???? when i played X-wing alliance and rogue squadron i always used a joystick.... and i have a nice one. BUT in space of SWG i dont like it that much so i never use it. plus i have to use amouse when in the neighbourhood of spacestations , plus i always look in my inventory and my questupdate list so i use the mouse there. so no joystick for JTL
Ranre Posted January 8, 2005 Posted January 8, 2005 I prefer the Joystick because your hands are all over the key board anyways, the Joysticks makes it a tad easier, and the small amount can mean a lot when your up against a formittable opponent.
Swmorgan77 Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 I prefer my Saitek P2600 gamepad for space, and for the whole game actually. It has "FPS" switch which maps the right stick to the moust axis and the left stick to WASD automatically, and the profiling tool is really cool, I can even set up macros with it so that I have all my pre-combat buffs set to one button (it can even time the pauses for the stamina to regenerate). I enjoy the game much more, that way.. it's very console-ish
JediConsularAD Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 i have yet to use my joystick which has 3 axis and a heap of buttons, so i always use the keyboard and mouse, but i am getting a G15 Logitech gaming keyboard hopefully soon, its on order and it will help in swg hopefully
McCusto Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 When I am in combat, keyboard. When I feel like role playing, joystick.
