The Seeker
Hey, welcome to the scarred eyebrow club! Last year, while I was kayaking, I flipped my boat and slammed my head into a rock. Naturally, it hit my head right below where my helmet sits, so split above my eyebrow down to my skull. Amazingly, I didn't get knocked out (I technically should have with as hard as I hit) but I had one horrible concussion for two weeks. Anyways, now, I have a badass scar with a cool war story. Anyways, I hope you feel better.

Lady Jedi
It's good that you guys are all okay. The only wreck I've been in was on an ATV. We were riding around at night on an overgrown road that's got a pretty nice S curve. My brother was driving and turned into the curve too soon; the ATV hit a stump and threw us both off. He walked away with a really bad headache and something wrong with his shoulder. I had a few cracked ribs, a baaad headache, something wrong with my neck, and my legs and hips hurt for weeks. But it could've been worse I suppose. And there have been several a few other ATV incidents, but nothing serious deadly. Glad you guys are okay. lukeiamyourdad
I'm glad to hear you're ok mate. I think everything will be ok for insurance. An accident is an accident afterall. As long as nobody is badly hurt and it isn't a DUI, everything you be fine. At least you didn't purposely ram a car...I never did that...no... I'm so glad I live in So Cal. I don't want to deal with icy roads! The way people drive here - I think we all would die. Hope you feel better -! lukeiamyourdad
I live in a country where icy roads are nothing special and I must say that we are sucky drivers. We only have cars made for the weather conditions.
ET Warrior
I wasn't driving, but I talked to my friend who was and he said he didn't get a ticket nor has he been contacted about one as of yet, so hopefully he won't C'mon STTCT, be strong, they're really not that bad, especially the one o' my face The thing that got us was the black ice, we didn't KNOW we were on ice so my friend thought it was safe to use his brake. Black ice is nasty business :\
lukeiamyourdad
Did the car have an Anti-lock Brake System? http://www.speedy.com/speedy2001/services-brakes-howbrakeswork.shtml Almost every car here has that now and it helps in those situations. ET Warrior
I'm pretty sure it had anti-lock brakes. The problem wasn't that the brakes locked up on us, just the fact that they tried to slow down suddenly caused the car to swerve sideways, and once we were sideways we were screwed
Master_Ginn
Yeah, all he did was tap his breaks like the guy ahead of us. But when he did that, we lost all control.
