One of the guys from Keane lives just up the road from where I work (in a music shop)! He came in to buy a piano a few weeks back, unfortunately it was my day off. Not that I even know what Keane sound like, but it's a good story to tell those who do...
CapNColostomy
Originally posted by txa1265 I did not say I don't like U2, I said I was not a U2 fan, but perhaps you lack the linguistic acuity to see the distinction. The reason I mention that is to state that my point has nothing to do with any particular group, but rather the nature of singling out and berating someone else's choice. Ah. So there's a difference between not liking something, and not being a fan. Right...Let me see if I can follow that logic with a little experiment. "I'm not a football fan. But I like football." "I don't like gay pornography, but I'm a fan of gay pornography." Okay, yeah! That makes perfect sense! Good call Mike! It turns out I just don't have any linguistic acuity whatsoever! Or maybe you're just fulla poop. Originally posted by txa1265 The difference between our posts is that: - You wrote an off-topic post which singled out people who stated U2 as one of their faves, and (I don't care about the link) pointed out how it is pure crap in a manner which states it as fact. - I pointed out that people should be able to post in a 'name your fave' thread without fear of getting a 'you like *that*?!? click here to discover why you are truly one of the biggest morons in the universe' reply. If people are insecure enough in their tastes in music that simply clicking on a link that makes fun of a band you like drives you to believing "you are truly one of the biggest morons in the universe", then I would suppose the shoe fits. I wasn't making fun of any of our users here at LF, I quoted them because their posts reminded me of something I'd read and thought I'd share. Maybe you should let the two people I quoted decide if they want to be offended for themselves instead of rushing off to boost your post count and ridicule my "linguistic acuity ", you ass. For someone that claims to want a flame free thread, you don't seem to have much trouble trying to sling ****. Also, speaking of linguistic acuity, at what point did I ever say "you like *that*?!? click here to discover why you are truly one of the biggest morons in the universe"? I honestly don't care what anyone likes or dislikes. I posted a link to something I found to be funny, and relevant to the discussion despite your best efforts to make my post appear "off topic". Honestly. To be one of the oldest members that posts regularly here, you whine ALOT. Mike Good for you.

They're great, it's just a piano, drums, and singer. You should listen to them, that way when one of them comes to buy another piano you can say"you rock". jon_hill987
I got this today, but it is from last year. ive just finished listning to it, it really is brilliant. Mixing from "William Orbit: Barber's Adagio for strings" into "The Prodigy: Smack My B(int) Up" was genius, and there are just so many brilliant tracks/remixes on it I stoped bothering to note the ones I liked! Thrawn42689
Fluke's new album, Puppy, is one of the most delightfully evil sounding albums to come out in recent years, yet the lyrics take a suprisingly uplifting turn. They have a song from there in Need for Speed: underground and Underground II, I believe.
