Darth NeoVenom
You can't see any html and css coding with Firefox, so I use good old IE.

Darth NeoVenom
That'z viewing the page's source, Samuel Dravis. For those that have firefox, go to my homepage. It'z at bottom of my post. If its messed up, then firefox doesn't show html/css coding. Another thing that can been seen on IE is the username glow on LF. My sn has a red glow around it. Samuel Dravis
Oh, ok. I see what you mean now. I don't like proprietary extensions much though... My page layout is full CSS, no tables or anything. All the text formatting is in CSS too. You can check it out if you like.
El Sitherino
Internet Explorer does not display CSS properly. And I have had no problems with HTML on firefox. Perhaps your site just has a poor layout.
jon_hill987
The only site i know that does not work with firefox is windows update, hmm can't think why MS did that. There are a few minor glitches on a few other pages (including this one) but I got over it. And Tabbed browsing alone is a good enough reason to have firefox. for me anyway. Darth NeoVenom
Well on all my pages I use CSS and they show perfectly when I see them. The layout is perfectly fine is just that firefox messes it up. HTML may show up on firefox, but not CSS. Anyways, I don't have a problem using IE, so whatever. Like someone said before, all browers have flaws.
Samuel Dravis
Yeah, that's what I was saying. I don't like proprietary extensions because they're not actually in the CSS or HTML specification. Firefox has better support for the specifications than any other browser. MS spends their time making IE do nonofficial things like the text glow feature. Only IE has it because MS wanted to convince people that IE was better 'cause it could do tricks. Really, IE falls flat on its face just trying to do the simple things like layout. Ugh. And CSS2's been around since '98. You'd think they have had enough time to fix a few bugs...
Darth NeoVenom
I'm curious...what are some of the flaws on IE?
Samuel Dravis
A good page: http://www.positioniseverything.net/explorer.html http://www.positioniseverything.net/explorer/border-chaos.html And of course: http://toastytech.com/evil/reasons.html
Darth NeoVenom
To be honest....some of those problems occur on my page. You think firefox will support CSS coding in the future? Also, I disable Active X and everything, so I'm all good with that.

Surfnshannon
I can't get my IE to open any links that open up new windows. I think its a pop-up blocker, but I have disabled the one on IE and the firewall. I installed Firefox and now the internet is going faster than before with no inherent flaws discovered yet. jon_hill987
Well you sound like a brainwashed convert to me! And just because we want to wipe IE off the face of the net and replace it with a supperior race of browsers does not make us firefox nazis. I wouldn't want to plug my head into the net though, what about the viruses spyware and worms, it just wouldn't be healthy.
ET Warrior
Yeah, but think of all the porn adware you'd have running in your brain! We'd never need women again!
Darth NeoVenom
With programs, you can make IE safe. As for wiping IE of the net, it'z never gonna happen.
ET Warrior
Doesn't it seem silly to you that you have to download and run third party software just to make your web browser not crap?
coupes.
Hackers actually want to trap people, IE has the largest part of the market (by far), so it's normal they concentrate on it as they have more potential victims. No browser is perfect and I'm quite sure that many flaws will be exposed and exploited as the browser attracts more users... and hackers.
