Kira Yamato
Does anyone know any good hosts for x wing alliance? Cos I never seem to find any decent hosts that still play this game. If any private users want to gather and hold out dogfights or duels i'll be more than up for it:)
Wildstar
Kira I posted on this board about Zone alternatives sometime ago. Either should satisfy you, but I'd recommend the first option if you're a "hardcore" XWA player.

Keyan Farlander
It works under XP, I believe, although I haven't tried it on my machine yet. X-Wing 95 and TIE Fighter 95 did not work well under XP, but somebody made a fix for that. So I think we're still good on the X-Wing games. Suntear_Keeper
I know where you guys can play X-Wing Alliance! It's called the Errant Venture. It was made by a zoner/gamer after the MSN Gaming Zone abandoned XvT and XWA. Both games can be played in the game client. To download the game client go here http://ccanuk.brinkster.net/xvt/redist.zip You'll need to unzip it! ~Keeper

Thrawn
I have been able to run everything from the CD versions of X-Wing all the way up through XWA on XP with system pack 2. I don't even think I had to use the compatability feature either.
